The Investment Meeting

Alexi's room was nowhere near the main area of the Harris Mansion.

It was tucked away on the third floor at the end of the hall.

"The five rooms closest are empty," Alexander explained, his voice echoing through the empty hallway.

"My room is the closest," Riley explained to us.

The placement of his room was in line with who he was as a person.

He enjoyed his privacy and cherished it. He was never one of those billionaires who liked to flaunt their wealth. He was happy living his life and that's what drew so much attention to him.

I remembered what it was like living outside this world and hearing how intrigued everyone was about him.

There were no bounds to the amount of questions people had.

They wondered who he was dating, what he did in his spare time, where he went to school, who his friends were, and what made him so smart.
