CHAPTER 23

Roger had taken over the world and had become the king. It was much better to find that he had got some inferior skill points as he had let the land become civilized. He got bored as the people were not developing by themselves and all of it depended upon him. It was interesting to find himself the king and leading them and controlling all the parts of them. The new developments and ideas were purely based on him. He had the idea of taking some soldiers to other worlds by taking them into his private space but it was boring. Roger let the seeds he had created to the different planets and different lands. It was much more interesting to find have bigger lands. Roger found that there was nothing more to do. He had conquered the world and was the strongest being in this world. He was their king and he did not have any problem or harm to wait against. He had finally achieved his role and decided to go enjoy his life. He let all the machines be under 2 times processing so that they will not need any intake. He created an AI to take care of the matter. He had a pathological feeling to either control it all or either lay down in a room away from reality. He had achieved his role.

Roger looked at the people and decided to have more fun. He decided to play the killing game. He created a lot of animals who were extremely fast and took some guns and started killing them. They ran to the forest and he ran behind him. he did not use any power as he did not want to win. He wanted to enjoy.

Roger looked at wolf who dared approach him and shot them one by one. He kept moving backwards as he had decided that he will only fight using the guns. He was surrounded the wolves and jumped to 10 meters and shot them down. It seems interesting to fight them. Roger went to the side and gutted the wolves and started roasting them. Food was better enjoyed and when we have nothing left to do, do what is needed.

Roger kept eating the food and wine. Life is nothing more than doing the things that we want. All we feel are nothing more than information but life has an innate thought that makes them want to live the real life. Roger still fettered this feeling and it remained the same for most. Those who eat the meat from the best restaurant and those who eat the meat you hunted and made yourself has different feelings. Roger looked at the people who had come. He had not gone to the royal forest as then he would be surrounded by the nobles. They were interesting to spend time with but it would get boring when talking to them. He had tried to spread the steampunk style fashion but these people still did not like it. They wore the dress but they did not have the heart of it. He could only remove that fashion as he did not want his good memory tarnished. 

The men at the other side came to him and asked, "Who are you? This is the territory of Baron Striker."

Roger smiled and released his aura. His face was seen and they identified their king. They kneeled to their king. Roger smiled and asked, "Why are you here?"

The knight said, "We are here to hunt some fresh food."

Roger said, "You can tell the baron to collect the money from the central government. I will send the money to his account."

The knight said, "All the land belongs to you your grace."

Roger said, "True and I want to pay others for using my own thing. Forget it. I created the order and I have no problem against it. If I wanted I would have simply added that the king can take anything he wants without paying anything."

The knight said, "Yes sir."

Roger said, "You can leave."

They stood to leave. Roger thought and asked, "Is there something fun around here? I came here all alone."

The knight thought and said, "There is a party going arranged by the Viscount Jackson. Today is the day he has called the readers. He is an avid reader of the dark arts and has called people of similar type."

Roger said, "That is indeed interesting but I do not like dark arts. Most of them are ugly and many of them are foolish."

The knight argued, "But the heroes are more foolish. The dark ones are fools due to side effect of their power while the heroes are the fools who lose all common sense."

Roger said, "So you are in the villain camp. The idea is interesting but the final thing remains that the reason the story is written is to let the readers read it. Some may write to show off certain ideas or philosophies or certain actions or certain histories. The stories written targeting certain readers or fantasy books remain different from those as they mainly expect the readers to be attracted. By time the readers change with more knowledge and the writers have to change with more styles. They write a foolish hero or some weak hero and let him rise against all odds when they should have died at every choice. People who get tired is interested in reading from the point of the villain or side character but the fact remains the same. If he really has invincible strength and strong background the only thing left will be either kingdom building story or some king of daily life story. What else can you expect."

The knight nodded. He thought and said, "An erotic novel could also be written."

Roger thought and said, "True. That is indeed another method as most humans like that aspect too much. All other aspect would not matter. The fact remains that the fantasy is fantasy and the stories cannot be allowed to have the random dangers of the real world unless you either give the hero the chance to come back to time, being reborn or unkillable skill."

The knight nodded, "Yes sir. Are you coming sir? We have all the collections of Cardinal Redfield."

Roger said, "I have read much more. If you are able to create something different like Cthulhu or SCP you can call me."

The knight asked, "What are those?"

Roger said, "I will post it in my personal asura messenger app. You all follow me, right?"

The knight said, "Yes sir."

Roger said, "Good. Leave me alone. I want to enjoy some lone time."

Roger really did not like that although he had more followers Henry's fans were more active. He got tired and close the app for the day. It was much more interesting to read their mythology and their philosophy and theology. They were much well versed than other beings and they were the ones who took the maximum use of the chance. They had developed a big academy and their ideas and scientific development was much better. Roger had given them support as he had wanted to see some badass steampunk priest with guns. They had taken the scientist route. They had put to use all the technologies he had given them. If he leaves one day, they will be on the forefront to taking over the world. They will also have the power to manipulate the history. It seems he needs to create a doomsday before he leaves so that this world and its people become destroyed after it. He decided against it and decided to take the whole solar system into his space. Maybe one day if he goes to an interstellar world, he may be ablet to use them.

Roger walked back and rose the bike that was made for him. It run on his energy and it was much stronger. Roger looked at the Castle and drove through the other side. It was much more problematic as they were hard to take care off. They were his fans and were brain dead. He had almost signed of the assassination order but he could not as there were too many among them. Roger had let them be and had warned them to stay away from him. His words were royal order and they had stayed away from him. He had to let them grow and become stronger. He decided to let the AI make them a pure fighting state so that they will be purely dependent on him. it would be much better in that manner.

Roger was flying in the sky and looked at the polar bear and the penguins in groups. He had thought about caught some whales and had taken some of them inside. He had found that they were useless as he could create more whale type fighter creatures. Roger flew to the space and found that the planet was indeed created artificially. The whole land was a single piece through the equator and he could see the division of the continents. He manipulated them and let the be connected. He decided to let the lands be connected. He went to the other pole and found that the animals were interesting. He had thought about the world and found he had seen most of the world. He decided to go to see the deep sea.
