A beautiful guy with sea blue eyes, woke up to the soft glow of morning light filtering through his window. As always, he followed his daily routine—freshening up, tidying his bed, and ensuring he looked presentable. In their family, he was often called the most beautiful, though he never paid much attention to it.
Before heading downstairs, he paused in front of the large framed photograph on the wall. The picture captured his parents, Shinji Fujikawa and Haruchi Fujikawa, standing proudly with his older brother, Ayume, and himself at just five years old. His small hands had clutched his mother's sleeve back then, a faint smile on his lips.
Michi traced the edges of the frame with his fingers, his eyes lingering on their faces. He admired this family—the love they shared, the bond they had built. A single tear threatened to escape, but he quickly wiped it away. This wasn't the time to cry. Instead, he clasped his hands together and spoke softly, as if his father were still listening.
"Papa, Good morning see your Michi is grown up now, but brother always treat me like baby *pout ... thank you for giving me the most protective brother and I will make sure to take care of him .... love papa and Dada ".
His fingers instinctively reached for the chain pendant resting against his chest—the last thing his father had left behind for him. Pressing a gentle kiss to it, he inhaled deeply before straightening his posture. With a quiet exhale, he stepped away, ready to face the day.
Michi Fujikawa descended the stairs, his presence bringing warmth to the household. As always, he greeted his family with his usual soft smile, one that never failed to brighten the mood.
His first greeting went to his older brother, Ayume Fujikawa, who's day always brighten with his presence " Good morning Michi ...Did had a good sleep for which he said as yes .Then came Osamu, who was seated beside Ayume, give a small smile to him
Next, he turned to his beautiful sister-in-law, Harumi, offering her a warm greeting. She smiled at him kindly, ever the graceful presence in the family. His attention then shifted to Toshiro and Yuchi, both of whom instantly perked up upon seeing him. Yuchi who has same personality as a Osamu gave him a warm smile
And then there was Tetsu—the one person Michi always had a playful rivalry with. As expected, their greeting quickly turned into their usual cat-and-mouse bickering.
"You're up early, Michi. What the matter?" Tetsu teased with a smirk.
"I am always early " Michi shot back, rolling his eyes.
Before their playful argument could escalate, Ayume interjected with a question.
"So, what are your plans for today?"
Michi's expression softened. "Since I've completed my exams, I thought about visiting different universities in person. Or…" he glanced at Ayume, "I could just spend the day with you brother."
Ayume was cool with second option , but before he could respond, Michi added, "But if I visit the universities, I will go alone " His tone was laced with clear disapproval.
Tetsu grinned, crossing his arms. "What, I don't want to baby sit you either"
Michi " I don't either"
Harumi chuckled at their banter before offering a suggestion. "You know, my university is really good. You could visit there—it might be familiar since Kei, Yoshi, Rina, and Kerin study there. Plus, they have all the subject branches you're interested in. But if you're not interested, there are other options too."
Ayume considered this for a moment before nodding. "That's actually a good idea. You should go." Cause he doesn't want him to go alone
At the mention of Yoshi's name, Osamu's eyes subtly sparkled with interest.
Ayume with a calm but firm statement.
"Osamu, Yoshi—you're coming with me today. We have an important meeting to attend."
Osamu's excitement visibly faded, and Yoshi, who had been quietly listening, let out a small sigh. Meanwhile, Michi couldn't help but smirk at their disappointment.
The car came to a smooth stop in front of the university gates. Michi stepped out, glancing back at the sleek black vehicle before turning toward the campus. Ayume never let him take the subway, always ensuring he had a driver. It wasn't just about convenience—it was about protection. Ayume wanted to keep him safe at any cost.
Michi took a deep breath, his excitement bubbling up as he walked through the entrance. This was Kei's world, and today, he was a part of it.
It didn't take long to spot Kei waiting for him. The moment their eyes met, Kei smiled. "Michi! You actually came."
Michi nodded. "Of course."
As they began walking, Michi casually asked, "By the way, where are Rina and Kerin?"
Kei gave a small shrug. "They're busy with something. That's why they're not here today."
Michi accepted the answer without pressing further. He wasn't here for them, anyway—he was here for Kei.
Not long after, Yoshi joined them. The three of them spent the day exploring the university together, walking through different buildings, stopping by interesting spots, and even visiting the library.
At one point, Kei and Yoshi exchanged a glance before looking at Michi.
"So, what interests you the most?" Kei asked. "Like, which course or group would you want to join?"
Yoshi added, "Yeah, I'm curious. What's something that really catches your attention?"
Michi blinked, caught off guard for a second. He hadn't expected them to ask that. But as he looked around the university—the students, the energy, the possibilities—he realized it was a question worth thinking about.
Michi didn't hesitate with his answer. "I want to be a doctor. A doctor of doctors," he said with a small smile. "And next semester, I want to join this college."
Yoshi and Kei looked at him, stunned for a moment. Then their faces lit up with pride.
"That's amazing, Michi," Kei said, his voice filled with genuine admiration. "A doctor, huh? You really want to help people."
Yoshi nodded. "That's a big dream. I respect that."
Michi felt warmth spread in his chest at their reactions. He had always wanted this—not just for himself, but for others. His papa had told him once, "Help everyone. Be kind to every human being." That lesson had never left him.
And then there was his brother—the kindest person Michi had ever known. No matter how much power he held, he never looked down on anyone. Michi admired him more than anyone in the world.
But as he glanced at Kei, another thought surfaced.
Kei.
There was something about him—something Michi had noticed from the very beginning. A resemblance. Not just in his kindness, but in the way he carried himself, in the way he spoke.
Kei reminded him of his mother.
Michi had never understood why. He had always wondered about it, but the answer never came to him.
And maybe… maybe that was the reason.
The reason why, from the moment he met Kei, he wanted him to be his brother-in-law.
But that was something he would never admit. Not out loud.
