The room instantly went quiet as Zane revealed the secret which he had been hiding from the various women in his life since the beginning of the apocalypse. For some, like Angelica, it was as if her worst fears were realized. Zane was indeed losing his humanity one level at a time.

For others like Elena, they were stunned by this news. She had suspected something was wrong with Zane. After all, he had unique abilities and didn't seem to need to do the things that all other human beings were required to live.

Others, like Olivia, simply accepted this information for what it was. Maybe it was because she was a high school teacher, and had seen all kinds of shit in her tenure fulfilling such a position. Or perhaps she was more open-minded than the others, but she seemed to be widely accepting of this revelation while the others were in shock.
