Rhett
~~
Talking with Isleen after everything that happened last night had been a mood booster. But after she'd left the precinct, he still had to visit one last person.
The Alpha.
He parked his car in front of Beowulf's mansion, sighing deeply as he gazed at the towering structure. The mansion felt like a completely different world from the pack.
After getting past the guards and security details, he went straight to the Alpha's study room where he met him sitting quietly after he'd ushered him in.
Just then, Alpha Beowulf raised his head away from the book in his hands and smiled slightly. "Ahh, Gamma Rhett. Please, have a seat."
The man seemed rather calm and cheery for someone who'd just lost his father-in-law.
Rhett sat down on a free chair, taking in the view of the magnificent study room. He was impressed.
