Bernier’s Horror Story

“Arias, where are you going?”

Maria asked worriedly when she saw that Arias was about to leave the room. How she wished he would not go out of her sight. She knew that her son was strong and wise beyond his years. He was even stronger than many adults. But whenever he disappeared, he would always put himself in a risky situation, like that time when he disappeared into the woods and lost track of time while training in the dungeon, or most recently when he nearly broke her heart two days ago. They were very lucky that Olivia had arrived in time to save him. Even now, Maria still did not know how to thank the half-faerie girl for what she did.

“There’s still something I need to do. But there’s no need to worry, Mother. I can take care of myself. I promise I’ll come back safely this time.”
