The Hunt for the Dragon Part II

“Damn it, that’s a blood bear! Why do we have to run into it at a time like this? There used to be a rumor that this thing was a warlord beast that roamed this forest, but I never thought that it would turn into a guardian beast in just a few years. A beast of this level...even a sage mage would have trouble trying to take it down.”

The look on Mora’s face was one of panic. A blood bear was not the type of opponent that she could handle. Even if she went down there and tried to help those mages, all of them would end up dead. Mora quickly commanded her iron-winged eagle to fly away from there, but it looked like her beast had already been gripped by fear. Its body was trembling so much she could feel it. Since the two of them formed a contract, Mora had never seen her iron-winged eagle acting like this before. The power of the blood bear was too terrifying.

“Master Mora, what’s wrong with your beast?”

“The blood bear is looking this way, Master Mora!”
