The turbulence of Arias’ power startled Olivia awake. She looked at Arias, her eyes were worried.


Arias replied with a forced smile, though he still looked clearly in pain. Strength did not come for free. This excruciating pain must be what he had to endure in exchange for having that lightning in his core of magic. A legendary grimoire was such a mystery that even he couldn’t fully understand. Even now, he still didn’t know what this lightning was.


With his mind, Arias tried to control and subdue the lightning’s power to prevent it from becoming any more turbulent. Though this lightning seemed to have a mind of its own, Arias was still its master, and he would not let it have control over him. His strong mind kept the lightning’s power under control for a moment before it began to settle down and eventually turned back to its normal state.
