Am I Doing the Right Thing?

In a forest near Porius City, there was an area filled with the aura of death. Five lifeless bodies lay in a pool of blood, three with black burn marks and the other two tied up by vines to the point that their bodies were barely visible.

At the center of the five mages’ graveyard of death stood two people who hadn’t a single scratch on their bodies. Even beads of sweat could barely be seen. It was like the battle that had just ended hadn’t wasted their energy at all.

“How many people have we killed now? Twenty, twenty-five, or thirty? ...These people were tempted by money and forgot to estimate their own powers. In the end, they had to die worthlessly.”

Arias said wearily. As he made his way back to Porius City, Arias ran into several groups of mages who were waiting in ambush and trying to kill them along the way. Among them, the strongest ones were just third-level knight mages whom Arias was easily able to kill with a single attack spell.
