Lillian Baker is the daughter and only child of Duke and Duchess Baker of the kingdom of Alfadamia. With beauty that matches her personality, the people of Alfadamia have come to see her as the kingdom's sweetheart.



Now Alfadamia is the only kingdom in the world, as far as Lillian could tell. She has never seen war or blood or battles as there are no other kingdoms except Alfadamia, or so she thought.



Despite being raised within the walls of her father's mansion, Lillian grows to be mischievous, always seeking secrets she was not meant to find out about. And a day before her 18th birthday, she sneaks into the Dark forest, overcome with curiosity to see what is hidden there.



But nothing and no one had properly prepared Lillian for the darkness she would face and eventually, come to love.
