Sokar Orleth

I shuddered as I saw the creature rushing towards us, it was large and terrifying, its screams were like thunderous dissonances that made my blood run cold as it approached. There was no more exit, here, in this clearing it would be our grave.

I raised my weapon, holding out an arrow with all my strength, ready to aim at the terror that leapt at me, its long, sharp claws were ready to tear us apart in a sudden and rapid movement.

And at the same time, I saw the creature dissolve, like a collection of dust in the fog, no sound rising for a moment, the forest was eerily calm.

Almost no more rustling of winter tree leaves reached our ears, a deadly silence enveloped the entire clearing, just as the fog had done.
