"We need a name," Cliff declared firmly, his words supported by an unyielding gaze.
"A name?" they repeated, intrigued by his suggestion.
"Yes, a name." Cliff nodded, his tone more pressing. "This city, like Freiden, deserves a name. It bothers me to simply call it 'the fortress.' It's meaningless, impersonal."
He swept his gaze across the room, awaiting reactions from the clan leaders present.
"Calling a place like this 'fortress' is a bit... simplistic. It gives the impression we didn't put any thought into it. And as the Sovereign of this budding nation, being called 'Sovereign of the Fortress'? That sounds frankly mediocre to me."
Cain, leaning against a sturdy wooden table, let out a slight chuckle. "You're not wrong. Naming villages or places has never been our strong suit. It's true, the elves named Freiden. Since then, no one really tried to follow their lead."
