Golden-Eyed Man

The battlefield seemed frozen in time. The soldiers still present could only watch what was unfolding before their eyes.

For most of them, it was the first time they had seen Scourges up close. It had all begun with a bright flash, and in an instant, everything around them had disintegrated. Then, a figure appeared, ordering them to leave and promising to take care of the rest.

Many seized the opportunity to retreat. The most injured, barely able to stand, were helped and carried away from the battlefield.

Meanwhile, the Scourges couldn't take their eyes off the man with black hair and golden, gleaming eyes. Everything else seemed to fade in importance in his presence.

That didn't stop a few, driven by reckless curiosity, from staying. These brave—or perhaps foolish—souls wanted to witness a battle of rare intensity. They wanted to see with their own eyes what a Scourge, calling himself the son of the Cursed Serpent, was capable of.
