CHAPTER 33- experience

A few more hours of walking and the night arrived. The sky was dark without a glimpse of light. The moon was not in the sky and the stars had choose to stay indoors tonight making the night sky void of any sign of light. Still there was a subtle glow to the sky but it was not enough to illuminate the lands they were treading through. They could not see around them very well, they didn't even know if they were walking in the right direction, only the sparkling dark surface of the night river told them what direction they should be heading to.

They could not see anything including what was before them. The growling sounds of animals lurking in the dark mixed with the sounds of crickets and frogs singing the night's anthem like they always did. Traveling on through this darkness would be akin to walking they a kind en completely blindfolded. They needed to stop.
