The swords came down swiftly before the monster could move out of the way.

The sound of metal clashing echoed throughout the whole forest. The teeth of those that heard it clattered from the ear piercing sound. 

Raaya and Alia looked at each other in alarm. The beast might look so mushy but it's skin was as hard as metal. Even with all their strength put into that attack, they had only managed to cut into a few inches of the monsters neck.

"krrch!" The monster yelled and shook it's body. Trying to hit Alia and Raaya away.

Raaya and Alia dodged the attack, jumping out of the way before they would get hit. As a result they had also retracted their swords, putting a pause to their attack.
