<p>After leaving the Red Room in haste, Kyunghee fully expected to receive a dressing down from Bongseok. After all, she had abandoned ship with the VIP client. To her surprise, Bongseok didn't get angry with the subpar customer service, despite his repeated reminders of the guest's importance. Whatever it was that WooSuk said to Bongseok resulted in Kyunghee getting to leave work early with a full day's pay. </p>

<p>It wasn't a bad deal for her, but she wasn't happy about it either. It made her indebted to him, as if she wasn't already. Lessons from the past: Never owe someone a debt you couldn't pay, because the next thing you know, you'd be on the ground with tears and blood for repayment. </p>
