Chapter 40

On the other side of the city where Jang Woosuk was, as soon as he got off the call with Kyunghee, he snapped the tactical knife shut with a cold sound that resonated inside the four stone-walled corners and shoved it into his pants pocket. The playfulness on his features disappeared, replaced by an apathetic expression.

Woosuk walked out of the office only to enter the room next to it. Right behind him was the bald bodyguard, Hiro.

This room was bare, with not a single piece of furniture except for a folding chair in the middle. The place was lit by a bulb fluorescent ceiling light that looked like it needed a replacement ASAP. There were no windows that led to the outside world, save for the one-way mirror on one side of the room. The floor was made from concrete, giving off a cold and barren vibe.
