By the time Woosuk finished the video conference and returned, Kyunghee had fallen fast asleep on the couch.

Woosuk walked up and squatted down beside her, so that his vision was leveled with her. The exhaustion and fatigue he experienced from the unpleasant video conference was instantly washed away as he admired Kyunghee's peaceful expression. It calmed his heart, blowing away the unwelcomed stress. He could stare at her forever, he foolishly thought.

His stiff appearance relaxed as he caressed her cheek. Her skin was smooth, warm and real to the touch. The mere fact that she was so tangible next to him was itself a sense of comfort. Woosuk slipped his hands underneath her legs and back as he hauled her up in his arms, making his way toward the master bedroom suite upstairs. He carefully placed her down on the King-sized bed and tucked her safely inside.
