Chapter Eleven

I ran my fingers through my hair as the water cascaded down my back. I needed to get a grip on myself before I got out. I fingered the tips of my hair. I had let it grow out some this year. It has always been a bit on the longer side but now I can feel it on my neck. Maybe I'll let it grow a bit more. I rather like the idea of the longer strands being right at the top of my shoulders.

I got out and dried off. I got dressed in a graphic t-shirt and black ripped skinny jeans. I walked back into the bedroom and saw Charly talking to Raiven. He looked a mix of happiness and anger.

"What you guys doing?" I asked as I rubbed my hair with a towel and walked over to my bed.

They both looked up at me. Charly ran over to me and nearly knocked me off the bed. He started to run his hands over me like he was looking for injuries. "Woah, Woah. Stop Charly. I'm ok. Nothing wrong."

He backed up. "Ok. Just making sure you're ok."

I looked up at him. "Why wouldn't I be ok?" I threw the towel to the side and grabbed my brush. Just as I was about to start brushing my hair Raiven sat down behind me and took the brush. He started running it through my hair. I let out a small moan since it felt so good. I heard Raiven laugh when he heard it.

Charly looked between us. "You did collapse at your party last night. Then you spent the night with this monster."

"Haha." I laughed. "Monster?" I leaned my head back to look at Raiven.

He shrugged his shoulders. When he was done brushing my hair he put the brush down and then started massaging my shoulders. I melted into the touch. Another moan slipped through my lips. I leaned my head against his shoulder. When I did my scent gland was in view.

Charly's eyes landed on it and gasped. "What the hell is that?" He nearly yelled, pointing at my neck. "Did you mate?"

I picked up my head and glared at him. "What do you take me for? Do you really think I would mate before I knew him?"

Charly took a step back. Horror written on his face. "I'm sorry Killian. I didn't mean it like that. Normally mates mark each other when they mate. Not before."

I leaned back into Raiven's arms. "It's ok Charly. I know you didn't mean it like that."

Charly heaved a breath and then grabbed some clothes. "Here's your clothes, Raiven."

Raiven took them, forcing me to lean forward. A whine slipped out of my lips. I slammed my hands over my mouth. My eyes widened. I can't believe that it came out of my lips. I'm not the whining type.

Charly gasped and Raiven looked down at me. I knew Charly was just as surprised as me. When I looked into Raiven's eyes I saw he wasn't surprised but there was something else. Something I couldn't place.

"Umm." I quickly stood up and walked over to my beanbag and sat down. "Go take a shower. I want to show you something later." I never looked at Raiven.

"Haha. Ok. Thanks Lil bro. See you later." Raiven got up and walked into the bathroom.

Charly looked at me. "What was that?"

I didn't look up. "I don't know. I don't want to talk about it. Thanks for bringing his clothes."

"No prob. I guess I'll see you around."

"Yeah." I said as he walked to the door and left.

I thought the whole time Raiven was in the shower. I still have no idea what was with that whine. Why did I whine?

'It's the reaction of an omega to their alpha.'

'Silva?'

'Yes.' he sighed. 'You're still not used to me?'

I rubbed the back of my neck. 'Unfortunately, no. It hasn't been 24 hours.'

'True. It will take some time. Anyways you are now acting how an omega would act around their alpha.'

'Really? Will it always be like this?'

'With your mate, yes. With others no. You will be the same.'

'Ok. Good. I guess I'm ok with being a little soft with my mate.'

"Killian? Are you ok?" Raiven interrupted my conversation with Silva. I looked up and saw him walking out of the bathroom in a blue long sleeve t-shirt and gray skinny jeans. He was rubbing his hari with a towel.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just talking with Silva."

"Silva? That's the name of your wolf?" He sat down on the bed and looked at me.

I stood up and walked over to him. I stood in front of him, looking into his eyes. He patted his lap. I sat down sideways. "Yes. We were talking about acting like an omega around you."

He placed his hands on the small of my back and my thighs and pulled me closer. I put my arms around his neck and laid my head on his shoulder. "Ah, yes. That. Don't worry about it. You can act however you want."

"Yeah? What if I can't help it?" I started drawing patterns on his chest.

I felt a rumble in his chest. "Be as soft or as hard as you want. I won't make you act a certain way. You are you. I won't force you to do anything."

I looked up at him and smiled. "Thanks Raiven. I don't want to be treated as an omega. At least not completely." I buried my face in his neck.

He rubbed my back soothingly. "I won't treat you like a typical omega. You're not one. You're my mate. If anyone ever treats you like one they will have to deal with me."

I listened as Raiven's voice turned dark. I felt a shiver run down my spine. I felt safe for the first time ever. I repositioned so I was straddling his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck as I buried my face. Raiven wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer.

"Raiven?" I mumbled.

"Hmm." he hummed.

"Can we stay like this for a bit before I show you what I want to?" my grip tightened.

"Yes. Take as long as you want."

We stayed like that for the next hour. I ended up with my nose buried into his neck, breathing in his scent. Raiven had pulled me so close and had such a tight hold on my waist there was no space between us.

I slowly backed away and stood up. "Ok. Time to show you." I held a hand out to him. He grabbed it and stood up. I took him out of the room and stood in front of my art room. I looked down at the ground. "Please keep an open mind."

Raiven squeezed my hand, reassuring me. I opened the door and walked through. I closed the door and then walked over to the bookcases. I looked back at Raiven and saw him looking around. I opened the secret door and stood back, letting Raiven walk in before me.

I sat down in my chair and turned on the monitors. When all of them were on I turned back to Raiven. He was looking at all of them. I was nervous. He was the only one I have ever told about my secret life.

"Raiven?" I asked softly.

He turned to look at me. His eyes were sparkling. "This is incredible. I knew you were doing something that no one knew but I didn't think it was this. Why didn't Charly tell me about this room? Why didn't I know about the games?"

"I asked him not to tell anyone. I wasn't ready for people to know but you're my mate. I think you should know everything."

Raiven quickly walked over to me and pulled me to my feet. He pulled me into a tight hug. "Thanks, Lil bit."
