In a fog that expanded to an indiscernible distance people sat in beautiful stone chairs, around an equally beautiful round stone table staring blankly at nothing. No thoughts could be seen or felt behind their eyes, no breath coming from their mouths, no soul in their bodies. The "bodies" might've just been meat puppets, meant to imitate the people they looked like. Then there were gasps; every single one of the bodies took a breath, souls and minds returning from where they had gone, their eyes dazed, but each slowly coming into awareness. Before anyone could process their sudden consciousness, most of them were suppressed by an aura so great, so utterly terrifying they couldn't help but to cower. Some reached for their weapons but found themselves grasping for air without realizing it, and continuing that useless action. Some reached for their powers but found themselves unable to remember how they worked or what they did, or if they even had powers.
The only two unaffected by this were a young girl with dark skin, long black hair tipped with red, green eyes that glowed an eerie silver, wearing a black full body leathery looking suit and a tall man with red hair, and blue eyes. The girl looked for the source of this aura and found multiple people sitting around the table she woke up at (including her people); then saw a "man" at the end of the table sitting with his eyes closed, practically oozing with the intent to kill all things in his surroundings. She noticed another two and some kind of giant unaffected by the power the "man" was emitting, a redhead that looked more concerned with the boy at his side than with the threat looming near them, and a creepy teenager next to the boy examining the fog around her with... wonder? The giant has a weapon but only seems to be guarding the two teens next to him. Not currently threats.
So, instead of worrying about them she unleashed her void beam at the "man", which he avoided by using some form of space warping from what she could see and began to walk towards her. She then used void sling to appear before him, ready to drown him in void this time and gets a kick to her chest before she can turn intangible. As she is sent flying over the table; she wonders how he timed that so perfectly. It took less than a second for her to appear in front of him, but he already had a move prepared. Was it some sort of precognition? Thoughts now in order, she hurries to void sling back towards him, and as result of her hastiness lands in a weird position. Ignoring the disorientation, she combat rolls into a stance about to set her sights on the "man" again, only to see him standing in front of her. As she was about to strike the man; his hostile aura disappears, and he takes a step back, raising his arms in a gesture of surrender. In return she slowly lowered her arms, the glow and pulsing of void slowly fading as she stared into his eyes.
While she had the chance, she chose to observe him. A man with generic features (maybe that let him hide better? He couldn't just be normal, especially with that aura), dull black eyes analyzing her, a small apologetic smile, black shoulder length hair, red scarf, a cloak with an intricate looking inner design, and a top hat like Limbo (except it wasn't bio-organic). He looked like he was from a distant past from her point of view. Maybe he was Pre-Orokin? Time travel couldn't exactly be ruled out, she had no idea where/when she or the rest of these people were from. Though that wouldn't explain his aura or whatever power that allowed him to do whatever that was to her void beam.
"Are you okay Miss?" The "man" asks, now wearing an apologetic smile upon his face and slightly relaxed posture. Honestly if his presence didn't feel, so similar to the Voids madness she would've believed his terrifying aura to be an accident because of his powers (whatever they are). So, she was inclined to feel that he was acting at the moment. "Any idea where we are?"
"Yes, I'm fine. Confused but fine." she says, her tone placid, despite being ready to kill this "man" not even a minute ago. It wasn't the first time she'd been harmed or had an enemy turn into a temporary ally. No need to overreact. "No idea." His expression shows he expected that. "We should check on our companions. I assume you have people here?" Her question was obvious fishing, but the man clearly didn't care or didn't notice (Unlikely to be the second. She wasn't naive enough to hope for a powerful person to be lacking mentally).
He instead smiles and points towards a group of similarly dressed people sitting on the right side of the table. "My colleagues or friends you could say." His tone showing affection. "I believe you also have people to talk to." Gesturing to the Lotus and Umbra. "Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be off." He bows and tips his hat before walking off.
She follows suit and walks right back next to her companions. She sees that Umbra is meditating; she could feel his mental state becoming more stable, so instead of bothering him she talks to the Lotus noticing her well-hidden agitation at the situation. She'd help him if he asked her. Umbra had been a Dax before he was Umbra. Discipline is his thing. He'd also be grumpy if she wouldn't let him handle it himself. Proud old man that he is.
"Are you...okay?" she asks the Lotus. She doesn't get an answer to her question for a moment but doesn't mind, the aura from the "man" was surprisingly powerful, and similar to enough to the Void that it might've harmed the Lotus mentally or physically.
"I'm a bit agitated, but otherwise fine my child. Thank you for the concern." The Lotus smiles tiredly. "No problems with your powers from what I could see of your altercation with that creature. You also don't have any of where we are from what I heard?" Her tone questioning. The question gets a shake of the head from the Tenno. "I suggest we wait until the rest have calmed themselves then. We may gain useful insight into this situation by then, or it'll be an all-out fight between us and that creatures group. As a Tenno you are always ready for a battle though, aren't you Enyo? " The smile becomes grim. Enyo knew how the Lotus felt. Facing an unknown enemy was always exhausting, lots of unknowns and old enemies had been popping up lately. Enyo didn't even want to consider all the work she and the Lotus would have to do once they got back. No doubt they'd have to explain to the others what happened here. The other Tenno would be in a small murderous rage searching for the Lotus and seeking out and interrogating/murdering everyone who wasn't an ally or civilian (No different than usual really). It wouldn't upset the balance in the system too much, but it was annoying no matter how she put it. The only relief would be that no one would reveal her absence, as the operatives would have no information to give if they were captured and though with her brothers and sisters acting so strange, they'd know something had happened on the Tenno side of things for them to be not receiving information from the Lotus.
The Lotus was their main leader, and losing a leader always put a group into confusion, even ones as strong and cohesive as theirs. Though right now the Enyo was thankful for her presence here. Risk assessment was not her strong suit, unlike most other higher rank Tenno. Having someone like the Lotus here was a blessing.
"Who do judge as the highest threats currently?" Enyo asked, her eyes scanning everyone in this never-ending fog. She hadn't been giving them any attention beyond the bare minimum in case someone decided to attack.
The Lotus hummed in thought, her fingers tapping on the table slowly and the Tenno freezes for a second. There is no smile on the face of the Lotus though, just a steady rap against the stonelike table. "The creature's group is the highest threat currently in our view, next I believe would be the man with red hair and the white-haired child next to his friend. Be watchful of them in particular my child. Both are unnatural, but why is what I cannot place. The giant is a considerable threat, his spear is made of a metal unknown to me, and his two companions also have weapons of the same metal. Their energies are also strange. A more stable version of what the creature's group have. These I insist you use caution when engaging. The others can be dealt with normally by you and Umbra. " With the Lotus finishing her input, Enyo began her own observations.
From what she could see while sitting in her chair; there were four groups, not including her own. Two of which were on her side of the strange table, with the other side being occupied by that "man's" group, and the red head and his companions. Two teenagers along with the giant near what she would say is the top end of the table on her side, one with wild black hair, tan skin, sea green eyes scanning everything, lean muscled, his hand gripping his the strange sword, and protectively hovering near the girl with blonde hair, similarly tan skin, hands near a bronze dagger grey eyes that looked at the boy with exhaustion/love and scanned everyone else for a weakness. Looked to be trained but were too exhausted to really do anything, except stand with their guard up. Clear trust in each other. Both stand by the begin moving to the sides of the giant, likely to cover his sides in a fight. The giant himself is at least 4 meters tall, with silver hair, glowing silver eyes, and a strange outfit.
Six people in the next group at the bottom end (all unnaturally perfect looking), a man who reminded her of a porcelain doll with cold calculating black eyes, a small frown on his face, unnaturally pale skin, in clothes that reminded me of a less fancy Loid. Currently looking at the members of his group with an indecipherable expression. Definitely one of the more dangerous of the group judging by how everyone was looking at him warily. Though maybe it was because they didn't know him seeing as how there was a bit of confusion in their expression. Next was the giantess; the woman herself reminding the Tenno of a slightly smaller Hildryn, except with normal human features. Olive skin, lean muscles, an excellently crafted bronze (nothing compared to Tenno armaments, but it was beautiful nonetheless) spear, brown hair, and hazel eyes looking at everyone she could see with a mix of dread and relief. The dread possibly from being in an unknown area, while the relief was from having backup. She seemed to be the only one who seemed to recognize the creepy doll, but still looked at him bewildered.
A movement dragged her attention to another in the group. A woman with white hair, grey eyes, and a wary look, was approaching another woman with pale blond hair, a cloth over her eyes, and a cute face, and worried expression. Another person that looked like a doll. Wasn't as creepy as the other one. The white-haired woman put her hand on the others shoulder. Informing her of something? Perhaps she was the leader of the group? Too early to tell though, perhaps when the groups start to calm it'd be possible to identify the leaders of each group. The last two were an unnaturally beautiful man with auburn hair, mesmerizing green eyes, a perfect face, and flawless ivory skin; along with a pale skinned woman (Healthier than the creepy dolls skin), icy-blue eyes, and raven-black hair. The man looked just as worried as the others, but the woman hid hers better than her group by looking like she was contemplating the murder of everyone in the room. Judging by how the creepy doll was subtly getting out of her line of sight to shield himself from her view; that might be the case. Still, all except the creepy doll talked to each other which indicated they were at least familiar with each on some level. All uninjured and battle-ready despite not having any weapons that she could see. Maybe they could summon weapons or-no it doesn't matter.
Honestly, the whole group was disturbing. It wasn't just their too perfect appearance, but the auras coming from them. It was as if something in this place was recognizing their existence but was rejecting something else about them. The creepy doll felt like one of Ash's shadows, the small Hildryn a beast, the beautiful doll made it impossible to look away from her as if doing do so would be disrespectful to the dead, the white-haired one a star, the handsome man was just eerily charming, and the murderous woman felt like someone had done patchwork with her soul, but she was still her somehow.
As the Tenno finished her analysis of the group, it seemed the group had decided to sit at the table instead of standing. The white-haired woman sat nearest to the Lotus, but only paid her a moderate level of attention. Smart enough not let their guard down, but too tired to care about a little more risk of someone attacking? Not that the Lotus would bother, but it still was a bad move. Maybe they had that much confidence in their power? No, after her small fight with the creature they shouldn't be unfazed. Setting up a group image then? Not a bad idea, considering they lost the opportunity to show any capability earlier. They can be considered one of the weaker groups, until shown otherwise then along with the teens.
From the corner of her eyes spotted movement carried out by the redheaded man. He was gesturing for the man next to him sit down?
'I guess people are beginning to settle down. I should hurry up, and finish observing them before talks begin.' she mused. 'Or a fight.' Enyo let out a small snort at the thought, ignoring Umbra's disappointment from the mental link. A small joke wouldn't hurt in this situation.
Though it wasn't currently productive either, so she moved on to the blond woman from the creature's group who was watching everyone outside their little bubble of silence, while the rest looked around for something or someone. Could they have some sort of connection to this place? Also, why choose her for a guard? Nothing about her screamed of a fighter. Though Enyo herself didn't scream fighter either to anyone who didn't know what she was. Everyone who knew what a Tenno was didn't reveal it, unless they wanted to be found and killed. The woman had dazzling emerald green eyes, smooth flowing blond hair, a perfect face, clearly came from wealth by the way she was dressed, and an elegant presence that caused Enyo to think of a younger Lotus.
'Ah, she's there to keep an eye on everyone while they search for whatever they're looking for. So, could be stronger than most of the others in her group, or maybe just faster at reacting to the unexpected. ' Enyo gave her one more long glance, now having a more specific theory for the woman's spectating. With looks like hers it'd be all too easy for people that saw her to let their guard down. Though no one seemed to notice their group disappearance at all. Passive memory manipulation, or maybe perception manipulation?
Honestly the group just kept becoming more annoying to fight the more she looked at the abilities displayed. She hadn't even moved on from the blond yet.
As the thought finished, the blond noticed the Tenno's eyes upon her and smiled in greeting, to which she nodded back her expression not remorseful at being caught scouting them out. This only seemed to make the woman amused if her smile was any indication. A man wearing a black coat with green eyes looked at her confused, then turned straight towards Enyo. The rest of the creature's group, along with creature itself soon followed. Turning to Enyo and staring. Most with surprise, and two with significant annoyance.
'How were they alerted?' Enyo wondered, a little surprised. There were no gestures from the woman that could've alerted the others to her accidental breach of their privacy. Though if they could mess with the perception or minds of others, there would be no reason they couldn't have some mental link like she has with Umbra. 'Annoying but if I can kill the one establishing the link, I can disrupt any teamwork their capable of for a moment.'
The creatures group began to walk towards the table, maybe having come to a decision on what they need to do? Seeing this the two teenagers cautiously began to do the same, along with their giant friend.
Observing the two, Enyo couldn't figure out why they were here anymore than the others, 'Everyone so far exudes a significant aura of power but those two, along with man accompanying the redhead; he does not seem as powerful as the rest of us.'
Though now that everyone had gotten seated, she figured the answers everyone wanted would come out soon anyway. Though there was only awkward tension, as everyone waited for someone to start the talking.Tenno POV:
Before anyone could say anything, the grey fog swirled in the center of the table. Although startled I didn't flinch, and neither did anyone else; though she could see they were warily staring at the rapidly condensing fog. Clearly someone or something had been waiting for them to calm, and had seized the chance to make a move. Harming them would have been done earlier while they were confused and disorganized. Although everyone seemed to be confused, we're at least organized into our own groups.
'Who is controlling this though?' I wondered. Whoever it was clearly had some form of concealment considering she couldn't feel anything coming from the fog or its condensing counterpart on the table. Though I guessed I'd find an answer soon considering the fog had just finished condensing into a small paper note. A weird and archaic way to give a message, but ok. Not important right now, an archaic way of messaging wouldn't help figure out who set this up.
Seeing the way the message formed seemed to surprise some of the creature's group, though not majorly. Some even seemed a bit offended by the way it had formed, though I could not guess why. Maybe it was their connection to this place or a similar one?
The creature reached his hand out and the note appeared in it. "Give me a moment," it said. Both to its colleagues and to I, not paying attention to the rest.
Its colleagues seemed hesitant, but didn't deny it from reading the letter. Not as much trust in each other as I thought, or are they a bit wary because of that aura from when they woke? Probably the second, and their wariness could mean it is higher ranked or stronger than them. Maybe both, but it doesn't help at all in this situation. If a fight breaks out, they'll no doubt be on its side, and not knowing what the majority of people in the room are like means I'll likely only have Umbra and Lotus to count on.
Instead of sighing at the dynamics of this situation; I narrowed my eyes at him but otherwise didn't say anything, 'The situation is too delicate to start anything, besides that a fight wouldn't matter so long as I get to read what's on that note. I doubt whatever brought us here would allow tampering with its messages.'
It smiled gently, "Good, I'll only need a moment." Holding up the note to its eyes, the creature began read and the smile slowly disappeared, its eyes containing a slight madness. "Well, that's a problem." It passes the note to its companions who either sigh or frown at the paper as it's passed to them, and it might've been my imagination, but I could've sworn some of them changed. The changes too small to tell what they were, but unsettling changes, nonetheless. All of their faces openly showing worry and a bit of anger in some cases, but from what? What could the note say for a group of clearly powerful people to worry even more in this situation?
Then it's passed on to the redhead man and his friend who read it together. Upon finishing it, the redhead stares awkwardly at his friend who noticeably pales upon seeing what's written, but slowly relaxes though remains pale while looking back at his red-haired friend, and almost collapses in relief his face planted down on the table though he remains pale. The redhead places a hand on his friend's shoulder, while passing the note to the next white-haired teen. She lets out an audible hmm and starts to examine note closely. I can feel her release a slight bit of power but have no idea as to the purpose. She appears to find nothing with her inspection and gives it to the teenagers. Upon the handing it to them, she doesn't turn to comfort the panicked teen and instead observes everyone in the room with a disturbing smile. No, it's not the smile that's disturbing, it's the act of her smiling which sets off something in my mind. As if she's faking her emotions. Disturbing, but not really important.
I turn away from them and find myself grateful to the redhead for comforting his friend as quick as he did. I had felt a small urge to comfort him myself, and that would've been awkward. Mostly for him since he didn't know me. The poor guy radiated enough negative emotion that if I couldn't directly see him and he had a void signature, I might've mistaken him for a warframe. The faking teen was interesting and disturbing both because of the unknown energy she was using and her fake emotions, when we all begin to talk, I'd have to ask what's going on with her, and see if I could help her.
That is for later though, and so I mentally refocus myself back to the teens.
The blond and her boyfriend read it together, and frown… in confusion? Then their faces change to surprise, and now worry just like the creatures group. The confusion and surprise were weird, but the worry showing up on their faces was giving her a small amount of anxiety, which was annoying. The tan boy got over his worry, and it turned to clear annoyance. I could barely make out any of the words he was saying, but I did catch the word "gods" being repeated like a curse. The blonde clearly wanted to do the same, but instead she passed it to the giant with a look of exhaustion at everything in her eyes. Her boyfriend draws her from her seat to sit on his lap. The giant reads and then pauses at the note. He then shrugs, a bit of apathy crossing his features for a moment. His eyes glow cruelly soon after, but he then closes them and so that had also passed. The giant then slowly passes the note to the Lotus, there's a momentary confusion in his eyes when he sees her, but again it changes back to apathy. And so, they watch us now.
'Not like they or I could do anything else,' I muse. We're all powerless against whatever brought us here. For now.
Too absorbed in my observations I miss the reaction Lotus has to the information the note possess; and as she prepares to pass it to me, I see what I can only assume are letters shift. From whatever the Lotus was reading, to the Orokin script that was no longer in use by anyone except eccentrics, the Lotus, Tenno, and a few enemies.
If I wasn't unsettled before, I was now. It wasn't impossible to learn the Orokin script, it was in fact easy as buying a lesson package from the approved corpus in Cetus or a relay with a few thousand credits. No, it was the fact that the letters shifted into the handwriting of Margulis. I know I'm not the only one to come to that conclusion; as Lotus's pause tells me she also came to the same conclusion.
Whatever brought us here didn't bring us here didn't just snatch us from our homes, but it knows us and what we're familiar with. Probably by shifting through our memories, or by some sort of observation.
With so many people observing I don't let my discomfort show on my face; I resolve to keep it neutral as possible as the note finally enters my hands. I took another look at the Lotus before I read it, but I'm unsure why. I shake my head at the clear attempt to avoid looking at something that might cause me to become emotional, and begin to read. I can't afford to be uninformed, especially not here.
"Hello, Tenno Enyo. I'll get to the point, and let you know of your purpose here in this great imitation of mine. Simply put, I need food. Don't worry I don't eat people, nor do I want to. I feed off experiences or memories (either term works) old and new, mundane and extraordinary. While normally I'd just eat your memories and copy them to give back, which would cause minor harm to you. Thanks to the backing and personal power most in this room have; I'll not be able to do what constitutes as harm to any of you.
You already know who must be backing you. The Man in The Wall says, "Hey Kiddo."
You have my sympathy for dealing with such a being, and not going completely insane. I might've let you go if not for you being such a good meal.
So, I instead proposed a deal with your patrons. You will all verbally share your experiences with each other, and I will feed off that. While, not exactly preferred, the strength of you all and the intensity of your experiences will make up for it. While here you all have some degree of control over the fog. It will allow you to form objects and individuals from your memories in order to give a more visual demonstration of your experiences, which again, while not preferred; will do. To ensure your safety I impose three rules for your stay that all of you have to follow.
Do not cause permanent harm or death. While I can revive you, and many others here are capable of reviving themselves or avoiding death, I'd prefer not wasting power.Do not lie about your experiences, downplay your achievements, or avoid sharing details. I am already restraining myself from devouring your memories, do not tempt me. Make situations involving your enemies and ask others how they would defeat them. Ask others how they would defeat you.Avoid insulting others. While I do not care if you suffer harm, I'd rather not have a rule 1 violation.Complete your stories and you will leave.
Signed, Constellation."
There weren't words to describe the amount of anger, and relief I felt. I'm pretty sure everyone could see the shake in my arms as I handed the note to Umbra. I could feel his concern through the link, but I ignored it. When we got out of here both of us would spend at least a month in the Cavia labs killing every single Murmur we could. At least that way my anger would be productive.
Of course, 'Wally' (The name my fellow Tenno came up with) would be involved in this somehow. Not enough that it caused my parents to go insane, not enough that we died, not enough it killed Rell, not enough that it's torturing us, it's just never enough.
My little mental break is cut off by Umbra sending a pulse through the link. The impression I got was for me to control myself, and I did so immediately. I must've been showing more of my emotions than I thought. There was also the issue of Wally being involved with this somehow; emotions could possibly be as dangerous as they'd be in the Void itself. Besides, everyone else here were controlling themselves. I could do the same.
Whatever reason Wally has for preventing me from losing my memories doesn't matter right now, it could wait until whatever this was, is over. As far as the note is concerned, I felt like burning it. Constellation could go fuck itself with all the lies it wrote. Saying it didn't eat people was basically a lie, because what are people if not the sum their experiences or memories. Might as well have killed us if Wally did not stop it.
The fact that I now owed Wally was sickening, but I'd get over it. Not the first time it had done something to save me for the sake of our deal, whatever it entailed. For now, I'd sit in silence until someone said something. The last two appeared to be done with the note, and now were sitting in silence with us.
The silence didn't last long as the tan boy got impatient, "OK, let's get this over with. We're all stuck here and have no way out; unless someone here has an ace up there sleave?" I didn't and no one else appeared to, so he continued to speak, "Then let's just do what it says and go home. With gods or whatever the thing is that brought us here its usually quicker to do what say and we go back to what we were doing previously. Who wants to go first?"
"Before that we should introduce ourselves. I have no doubt most in the room are tired of not knowing the names of who we share this space with." The redhead said, his smile sincerely friendly. Ah, now I can see why Lotus found him unsettling. Though I can't see his soul; I know that if we were to fight, I'd find myself in the Void for a while. It'd probably take a squad of Tenno to fight him, or maybe two if we knew what we were dealing with. Wonder how she knew without him doing anything though? Nothing really stood out besides him being the only one besides me to withstand the waves of madness coming from the creature. Though, that by itself should have clued me in to something going on with him. "I am Reinhard Van Astrea," he then gestures to his pale friend. "And this is Natsuki Subaru." Subaru raises his head up and waves before putting his head back down. His soul is also obscured by some kind of darkness? Hmm, no not darkness; it's something else. Is it from his backer?
'What did that note have on it?' I wondered. I've got no doubt if he had the sort of backing, I did that he'd be unsettled, but he was acting like someone drained the life from him. Hmm, maybe something did? The note could've held information that the person backing him didn't want to be known, and it tried to attack whoever read it but failed for some reason. Yes, that'd be reasonable. Then again, reason doesn't exactly apply to this situation.
The faker goes next, "I am Echidna known as the Witch of Greed. I hope for us all to learn much while we are here." For a moment her true self leaks out, and I see darkness in her eyes. An all-devouring greed uncaring of what it had to do to get what it wanted. I'm tempted to attack her here and now, but a sharp reproachment from Umbra kills my foolish thoughts. He's right too. Anyone who attacks in this situation will be ganged up on, and I have no doubt that someone else in this space sensed her nature. To attack while they hadn't would be stupid.
A man from the creature's side spoke next, "I guess, we're next then? Miss Audrey, would you please start us off." He gestured towards the kind looking blond with emerald eyes, who obliged by standing straight and performing a small bow in greeting.
"Hello everyone," her voice just as kind as she looked. "I am Audrey Hall, and these are my friends." She gestures for the others to rise up alongside her. Ah, she must want them sit down as she introduces them. "Alger Wilson," The man with bronze skin and dark blue hair sits back down. "Derrick Berg," A tall man in a pristine white robe and neat brownish-blonde hair. "Fors Wall," I pause at this woman. Not because of her beauty, though that is noticeable. What I pause at is her aura, a hidden twisted insanity, tinged with suffering deep in the depths of her mind. I want go deeper to look at what causes her pain, but I stop myself. It's not my place to do that. She's not a warframe, and from how her aura feels she's strong enough to handle herself. So long as that insanity stays hidden it is not my problem.
I must not have hidden my probing well enough, because when she sits; she turns to look me directly in the eyes with a smile. Then a knock on my mental defenses, nothing alarming but I raise them all the same. It felt somewhat similar to how a Nyx would communicate when comms were cut off; the only difference being this felt more… subconscious, where a Nyx was more of a full force mental battering ram. I shift my defenses to allow for communication, and I'm met with a confusing language. It sounds like gibberish to me, and I find myself annoyed at her for wasting my time.
Which doesn't last long, as something utterly alien intrudes on whatever allows her to communicate with me and translate the thoughts. "I will not touch what is yours, so long as you pay me the same courtesy," comes what I can only assume is the untampered thoughts of Fors. A warning for me to not probe so deep? I feel no maliciousness from her, so I assume she's warning me of something. I send to her a feeling of agreement and see her blink in surprise. Though from what I don't know, maybe she didn't expect me to back off so easily? Ignoring her surprise, I quickly tune back into the introductions and find that she is still about to introduce the next guy. Did Fors dilate time or was someone else responsible?
"Emlyn White," A extremely handsome pale man with red blood eyes reminding me of Vasca kavats in the plains, black hair; his expression filled with barely suppressed disdain, though at what I cannot guess. "Cattleya," … No last name? I can't judge her though; I can't even remember my own. Maybe I could ask Drifter? Hmm, no. Those loops have been hard on her recently it'd be better to wait till she's calmer for her to tell me my-no our last name.
As I focus back on Cattleya, I see she has long black hair, slightly purple eyes, and wears a robe with symbols of some kind on it. What they mean I cannot begin to guess, so I leave them alone and listen to the next name. "Leonard Mitchell," The man told Audrey to start them off. He has black hair, green eyes, red gloves, and a black trench coat. Also has almost supernatural good looks, but not to a disturbing level like the creepy dolls group. "Xio Derecha," A short woman with messy blond hair, somewhat tanned skin probably from being out in the sun since it reminds me of the Ostron a bit, and an outfit that some Tenno would probably hound her for. Most likely Tenno that used Mesa and Hydroid often.
I look at Umbra and wonder what a similar outfit might look like on him. Hmm, I decided to just send him a vague mental image of what I'm thinking, and get a fast no. I expect it, he isn't exactly fond of direct reminders of what he is now. Not dwelling on his fast rejection, I turn towards the last of the group.
Audrey does not speak for him, and instead sits back into the stone chair. He turns to her and smiles in amusement, "Giving me the chance to introduce myself Miss Justice?" Justice? Her response is a joy filled smile. So, he turns to us showing a bit of an awkward smile which seems to horrify Fors a bit. "I am Merlin Hermes or The World, a pleasure to meet you all." He gives us a small bow, then turns to the tan teen and his girlfriend. Before I turn to the teen myself, I see Subaru give Merlin a confused/suspicious look, but I leave it alone. There's enough to think about, and piling on to that will be of no help.
When I turn to the two teens, I see the blond is also giving the man a suspicious look, though it is well hidden. The tan teen looks like he's annoyed at Merlin for something. What did he do for three people to instantly become even more wary of him? He only introduced himself. Which means there's something wrong with his name? Fake, maybe?
I stop myself before I become too focused on it and look at the two teens again who have ignored what problems they had with his name.
The tan teen rubs the back of his neck and gives an awkward smile, "My name is Perseus Jackson, but please call me Percy. Only my enemies and Gods call me Perseus." I think we all catch the muttered, "Not that there's a difference most of the time." Which makes me curious about him and the girl, they're only as strong as the creepy dolls group or near that level; but they fight Gods? Either their Gods are weak, or the teen is special. Either way I want to learn more.
Next was his girlfriend, "I'm-." was as far as she got into her sentence before the fog swirled over her like a tsunami before settling down, and from what I could see. She was gone. I couldn't react fast enough to do anything about her disappearing, and I don't think the rest could either. In her place was a note which Percy snatched before the fog could even dissipate completely. Looking at his face I could tell he didn't like what he was reading at all.
Eventually he looked up at us sighed and forced himself to talk through his anger, "Constellation decided she wasn't necessary for telling our… story. Annabeth," The girls name? "Is apparently in some kind of frozen space and will be out once we're done." Okay, if we are not useful to the… discussion we'll be taken out by an incredibly fast-moving fog. Noted. I can see no one in the room likes the idea of any person in our groups disappearing from our sight like Annabeth did. A warning to comply or else.
The giant's eyes stared at the place she did, his apathy vanished with Annabeth's disappearance, replaced by a cold anger. I prepare for some type of effect to wash over us, but nothing happens. Enough restraint to not take out his anger on others? Refreshing. Again, he snaps from whatever is going on in his mind and looks at Percy in apology, who just shakes his head dismissing it. Probably thinking nothing could be done for her in this situation. Looking back towards us, the giant speaks, "I am Iapetus known as the Titan of the West." He then gives a small smile as if thinking of something funny, "You may also call me Bob." Bob? The others are also appear confused at the name, but seeing Percy grimace while also holding back a smile gives me the idea that he's playing a small dark joke on us.
Moving on from Iapetus we're the next to introduce ourselves, and I see some of them curiously looking at Umbra. Scanning his form with their eyes. I hope he doesn't look too weird. He was currently styled using the Dex customization (except for that chest plate since it clashed with the scarf), primary black with silver thanks to the Dex customization.
Seeing as Umbra couldn't exactly introduce himself I did so for him. So, I gesture towards him and say, "He is Umbra my friend, and a Warframe." Umbra sends satisfaction at his introduction through our link, and outwardly nods to everyone else.
I see Subaru look at Umbra with a sort of dulled awe, Percy, Reinhard, and Iapetus with confusion though I can only guess what about; while the rest only seem like they're mildly interested in him. No one commented on his non-human appearance which surprised me the most, but I got over it quickly. I was likely to find answers when the introductions were finished.
Getting it over with I give a short intro, "And I'm Tenno Enyo. A pleasure to meet you." Same as Umbra another small nod to them. I see a bit of curiosity in the eyes of a few, mostly Merlin's group.
Now all that's left is Lotus and the creepy dolls group.
Lotus herself was still wearing the form she had when she killed Ballas, except in the place of gold and black accents there is silver. She perhaps looked the strangest to these people thanks to her helmet. "I am the Lotus; it is likewise a pleasure to meet you all," she says, her tone unnervingly polite. Though that's usually how she is, even with allies. It helps people not get too comfortable with her, is what she said after that meeting with Cressa.
I turn my head to the white-haired woman as she speaks, her voice was surprisingly polite for how cold her expression was. "I am Saint Nephis." She then gestures to her group, "And this is my cohort." Through my link with Umbra, I see Percy perk up at the word, but grimace shortly after. Interesting, does he also have a cohort? Or did he have one?
The one with cloth over her eyes is next, "I am Saint Cassia." She says with a small smile. I find myself drawn to the cloth over eyes, and wonder if she was injured or born blind. Not that it matters, but it's rare that I see someone blind outside of a settlement. Usually those are the ones to have died first, before we've arrived to drive off whatever force was killing them.
The smaller Hildryn grins, "I'm Saint Athena, looking forward to this talk of ours." She's clearly the friendly one. Reminds me of Varzia a bit. Hopefully, she's not as…sharing of her more private thoughts.
The handsome one smiles and I'm fairly sure it's magic of some kind. No one human can be this charming just by smiling. He's nowhere near where Orokin gene fuckery got people, but he's damn close. Through the link I feel Umbra hesitantly agreeing, which I find a bit relieving. If I were overreacting, it'd be embarrassing. Umbra then sends me a mental image of everyone else and I squash the grin forming on my face. Everyone besides the handsome guy's cohort, and Merlin's group was just as stunned. Merlin's group actually looked unimpressed, which has me wondering what type of experiments his people do on others for them to make this guy unimpressive.
The charmer then introduces himself, "I am Saint Kai, I hope nothing unfortunate happens while we're here." The creepy doll looks at Kai as if he has said something profoundly stupid, but quickly masks it. The only reason I catch it is because of Umbra's vision. The benefits of being linked to a sentient warframe is that almost nothing escapes our sight.
Finally, the murderous one is next. Though I guess I can't call her murderous, her expression has become neutral since I last gave attention to her. "I'm Saint Jet," she says her voice polite, but cold at best. She then turns her head in the direction of the creepy doll. Not interested in saying more then?
Understandable, few people are warm when they've been subdued easily. I'm surprised the others here aren't throwing Merlin dirty looks. It's not like he could kill them, nor does it seem like he's petty enough to rage over a look. He seems more like the type to subtly mock you in a joyful manner.
The creepy doll smiles, "I'm Master Sunless, but please call me Sunny." Interesting name. Different title from the rest too. Is he higher or lower ranked than the others? They all feel similar except for Sunny and Nephis. Those two are somehow more than the others. Nothing I could identify with my level of skill without alerting one of them to my probing of their souls, if they had such senses.
"So, who's going first?" Percy asks sounding resigned and looking it.Who wants to go first?" asked Percy. Weird name, but Sunless couldn't judge; besides, he had more pressing concerns.
Such as, the feeling of death worming its way into his mind. No, he didn't just feel that way, he was currently dying. There was no mortal wound on his body, no nightmare creature draining his soul or blood from his being, it was just embarrassment. Pure and simple embarrassment, hidden behind an impeccable smile directed at the people in this room.
The day had been going well, even if it was a bit hectic thanks to Cassie. Not to mention Nephis appearing in his shop once again, and him managing to get more time with Nephis in the future. Though that was not part of the plan; he wasn't panicking because of it.
No, he was panicking because it hadn't been that long since he had set up his Lord of Shadows persona to Nephis and Cassie by extension (Who already knows, but that's not the point!). He had ventured into Godgrave to rescue sleepers and it wasn't to show off or anything; it was just to get a feel of for how Nephis had changed, and to see her future plans. If he didn't know he was disconnected for the spell and [Fate] he'd say they were both actively trying to screw him. By letting a damn GOD kidnap him and his former cohort to reveal all his secrets!
Sunny was pretty sure it was a God that did this. That Merlin guy's danger was comparable to the feeling he got when he saw a bit of Nether, and anyone who was capable of that had to be at the very least Divine. So, fighting him and Constellation was the equivalent of suicide in the eyes of Sunless.
That was the judgement of Sunless a Transcendent Terror who could not be considered weak by anyone. Well, if they knew his true capabilities beforehand that would be true.
On top of that; the cohort should be suspicious about why he is the only Master here with them and not just them. Actually no; why would they be suspicious? As far as they know he's just an unfortunate guy trapped in the whims of unusual god just like them, and that it took a liking to his story or whatever. Only Cassie really knows about him, and even then, just barely because of the memory deletion.
…As if it would be the easy. Besides, not like it matters when he's going to have to reveal the truth anyway. The thought almost breaks his perfect smile. Almost.
Honestly, Sunny wasn't sure how things would work out after he left this place with the cohort. With Kai's flaw they'd know he was telling the truth, on top of the mystery God's rule of no lying about experiences. Someone would test the limits of what was allowed, but no one would outright break the rules set.
Sunny momentarily grimaced, realizing that he might be the first person to do such a thing. Though that might not be true considering all the unknown people in the room. Nephis might also test the rules set by Constellation, she at times was worse than him when it came to dangerous situations. There was a reason his catchphrase in that horrible movie was, "Are you crazy?!"
Cassie would let her, so long as her vision wasn't blocked by this place. Which was also another concern. Sunny could feel his powers here and even his memories weren't being blocked, so he didn't feel like he was actually in danger due to being unarmed; but his concern lay in how this space affected or interacted with them. The passive ones worked perfectly as far as his senses could discern, but he couldn't comfortably summon his shadows or memories without someone on his side reacting. They wouldn't react negatively it'd just be annoying for attention to be drawn towards after all the work he had put in too being hidden all these years. Though that effort would soon be worth nothing; he sought to preserve it for as long as possible.
Honestly, it was all so damn annoying and horrifyingly embarrassing. Truly Constellation; no matter if it's a God or Daemon, Sunny would call it cruel for putting him and the others through this.
"Should we not learn about the worlds each other resides in first? Its cultures? The strength of those here? What qualifies as strong to those here? Who's at the top of your hierarchy of power? How do people gain power where you are from? What are the risks? What dangers are your worlds currently facing? I personally desire to learn all of this before we get to the stories of everyone present. Besides, would it not make it easier to follow said stories?" The girl, Echidna if he remembered right; questions them. Sunny didn't know about the other, but the girl unnerved him. The darkness in her eyes simply wasn't human, and neither was the feeling she gave off that his senses were pulling up. Others in the room clearly felt the same, as Sunny could see them tense just a bit.
She did have a point. While they could all tell each other about their lives; what would be the point if they couldn't understand the context behind their actions, or thoughts? That probably wouldn't matter to Constellation so long as they gathered something from each other it might be satisfied, but Sunny did not want to be bored and listening to what might as well be gibberish to him.
"What do you suggest then?" Emlyn asked, his expression somehow a mix of disdain and politeness. The way he carried himself reminded Sunny of Caster a bit. Emlyn didn't have the same type of arrogance though. He seemed a softer sort; a good person once you got to know him but an annoyance otherwise. That said there was another more superficial reason Sunny didn't want to be near him; the guy looked too much like a vampire from one of those old stories. Remembering what the note said, Sunny didn't discount the possibility of vampires being a thing where they're from.
"Whoever wishes to go first should go first. I myself am not in a hurry; plus, this is a nice change of scenery even if it's not very vibrant. I find it a bit interesting to think about how it was made." She spoke. Nice change compared to what? Is what he wanted to ask. Though considering she introduced herself as a witch; a prison or something similar. Also, what was wrong with her? Out of everyone here she seemed the least disturbed about the situation; even Merlin had displayed a minor amount of concern, and a bit of anger if that aura from earlier was any indication.
Though for now Sunny left those thoughts alone. Too much to think about, and judging by how everyone had such thoughtful looks on their faces they thought so too. Sunny wondered how the cohort would explain that their life consisted of abominations running across multiple worlds, the ranks of nightmare creatures and humans; along with what they've collectively learned about the Gods/Daemons and creation.
Everyone else was quiet for the same reason he was, Sunny guessed. There is no easy way to accurately explain how screwed your world was.
The reason he thought everyone's worlds besides his is screwed? Because at least four people besides Sunny and Nephis in this space have some level of divinity. The Titan Bob, Percy, Merlin, and Fors. Which meant three of the five worlds present had divinity and the idea of worlds with divinity being anything but some type of insanely dangerous was laughable to Sunny. His smile grew a little at the depressingly funny thought.
Though the other two worlds probably had something equally as horrible as theirs considering the kid and Reinhard were unaffected by Merlin's aura. Which also indicated that they're monsters in their own right.
"I guess we'll go first then?" Percy spoke, his eyes wandered to Bob likely to see if he was fine with it. Weird name choice for a deity, but to each their own. Sunny really could not judge.
Bob shrugged a bit, "I'm fine with it. Unless of course anyone else wishes to volunteer?" He looks at everyone in question.
Nephis answers first, "We'll need more time collect ourselves." Sunny along with the rest of his former Cohort nod. This situation was weird even for them, and a little more time wouldn't hurt.
"I along with Subaru will be sitting this out for the time being." Reinhard says. The guy seemed utterly fine with the situation though there was a thoughtful look in his eyes as he looked everyone over with a smile; it's obvious he's waiting for Subaru to calm a bit more. Subaru himself seemed… fine is not the word Sunny would use. More of an acceptance is what he could read from the guy's expression.
"It is not a problem," answers the Lotus. Having us address her by a title instead of a name was annoying, but not something to be bothered by. Clearly the leader of her group.
The girl- Enyo and Umbra the Warframe is what Sunny believed it was called nodded along with her answer.
"It is fine with us. Please go on Bob." says Audrey, her smile dazzling. Not as much as Nephis of course but still Sunny had to wonder if looks had been upgraded in their world too, because he found Audrey's beauty to be like a gem. Mostly because of what he could see of her eyes from his seat; a dazzling emerald green unlike Kai's electric green.
Sunny tore his gaze from her before he found himself staring too long. He didn't know why he was staring in the first place. He'd seen plenty of Saints that could compete look wise. Probably.
"Want to go first?" Percy asked Bob.
"No, I am quite curious to hear from you on how your early years went; I'm sure you can imagine what I heard from all the monsters you killed along with the words of my brothers." Despite Bob's words being mirthful; at the mention of brothers Percy winces. "Besides my memories are still returning." What had the power to make a deity lose memories? Judging by Percy's grimace he had a hand in it.
"Ok, then I'll start off with who's at the top of the hierarchy of power. That'd be the protogenoi or primordial gods I guess; haven't encountered any besides Gaea and Tartarus yet though." Sunny took another look at Percy; trying to judge how strong this guy was and judged that he was decent martially if his build was any indication, but had no idea about power wise. Sunny didn't know much about the old cultures of earth but when Nephis had talked about all those Greek hero's; he couldn't help but look into a bit more, and he knew that Gaea was the primordial of the earth. Percy's tone sounded aggravated so he could assume that Gaea wasn't a friendly. He didn't know who Tartarus was though.
The only question Sunny had was what the hell had this guy done to have grudges with Gods?
Percy continues, "If you don't know about those; to summarize their sentient aspects of the universe and have complete control over it. Can't stay dead or be killed unfortunately, like most of what I fight." That last part was grumbled.
"What do you mean by can't be killed exactly?" Leonard asks Percy, his brow furrowed along with some of his group. Something not dying must truly be mysterious to them, Sunny joked internally. Though something not dying was a mystery to his universe too; Skin Walker being the only nightmare creature that he and most of humanity had no way to kill; its core and main body being at a unknown location. Still, it could die if those were ever found.
To be above death was to be above the Gods and Daemons and nothing besides the [Unknown] were ever known to even equal them to his knowledge. Shadow truly was great to create such a deadly weapon.
Bob answered for him, "Mother and the rest of her siblings are some of the first immortals to come into existence as such they are not able to be killed. You may banish them from the world, destroy their avatars, but their consciousness shall remain. Defeat for them is just a few thousand years of sleep or less."
Sunny pondered if there were other reasons for their Gods not being able to die. Was it because their version of death not being a weapon against beings like the [Unknown]? Or was it because death didn't have the same status as them?
Leonard hums in thought, "Sorry for interrupting you. Our world is… different as far as the first Gods are concerned. Please go on."
Sunny is curious how it works for them, but he resolves himself to the wait.
Percy continues, "Next would be the Titans, Gods, and Giants; they're basically equal as far as power is concerned, I think?" He pauses, looks at Bob who shrugs which is apparently good enough for him to continue, "Then it'd be the demigods like me, most supernatural creatures, and then mortals. I don't know how the hierarchy is in other pantheons, but that's it for Greeks and Romans. Any questions?"
"What is a pantheon? How many deities are there in your world?" asks Cattleya, her eyes curious.
"A pantheon is a group of Gods for a culture; for me it's Greek and Roman gods. As for how many of them are there? No idea; too many for me to care about unless they come to me. I'd like for them not to." Percy stated, and Sunny found himself liking the guy a bit more for no reason in particular. His eyebrows raised; Percy asked, "How's it so different for you?"
A pause from them all. Not sure of how to explain it, Sunny figured.
"I think we'll hold off on answering that question until it's our turn," Merlin states; his face smiling same as ever. A creepy smile if you asked Sunny. Though that might just be him holding a grudge for the release of the guy's aura earlier.
Still, the guy was somehow creepier than Mordret; not that it was difficult to accomplish these days, but even so it was noteworthy.
"Ok, no problem. You have to cover how strong you all are Bob; I don't exactly have a good frame of reference for it considering you guys are restricted by the laws." Percy said. Laws? Sunny wondered. "The laws are a bunch of ancient laws created by someone or Zeus that restrict most deities' actions. Never got a clear answer on who made those laws." Percy explained, but the last part was directed at Bob.
Sunny finds himself stuck on the fact that someone made laws to restrict Gods, and he clearly wasn't the only one. He could see most of the other groups except Merlin's, being a bit surprised. Sunny finds himself unsurprised at the fact that they show no reaction. Either they have something similar, or a deity is able to do it where they're from.
Though for Percy and Bob that implies a primordial. As that'd be one of the only being that had higher status than them.
Bob hums a bit before answering, "We don't know who made some of the laws; our best guess is Ananke the primordial of fate and inevitability and Chronos primordial of time and eternity, to stop us making a mess of their plans. Though we've not seen or heard from them since we were children, so that could be wrong."
Percy looked like he wanted to groan, "I really don't want to meet either of them. Gaea and Tartarus are the only two I hope to deal with for the rest of my life."
Bob chuckles, "Knowing the Fates you'll have another threat within a year." Percy grimaces.
"The Fates?" asked Echidna.
"Children of Zues and Themis. Together they weave the destinies of mortals and demigods from birth, then lifespan, and finally their death. When they cut a thread in front of you; that usually means you're going to die." Percy stated; he looked a bit uncomfortable talking about them. Sunny found himself pitying him a bit; Sunny himself had been able to escape [Fate] though that was only with the help of a Cassie a friend with the power to see into it. Even so it was difficult to escape it, but he didn't think either of them could've managed to pull it off if actual deities were involved. Percy continued, "I felt… weird when I saw them cut one. Really don't want to experience that again."
Bob looks at him; a bit of surprise in his eyes, "You survived that?"
"Wasn't mine," He explained. "It was Lukes." Someone he had a complicated relationship with based on the tone.
"Ah yes, my brother's host," Bob nods slowly. He turns back to us all, "As for how strong we are… hmm. That's difficult to answer where protogenoi are concerned, as far as I know mother and her siblings have never put their all into a battle. I'm sure you can infer that very few things would be able to do that besides themselves." Percys face darkens, "Luckily for you after so long of a sleep; she'll be relatively easier to defeat for Olympus this time, as she has not regained all her power completely." How did a long sleep affect her power? Oh, maybe they shredded her consciousness the first time? Which gave him another question did her being conscious affect her ability to gather power?
"What put her to sleep in the first place? Why did going to sleep affect her ability to gather power? I can follow some of this since I ran across Greek myths while… researching some stuff, but not all of us here are familiar with the names and terms you've been throwing around." Subaru questioned and reprimanded. The guy was clearly insane Sunny judged. Though they couldn't die here according to the God that brought them here why test that by pissing another off?
"She went to sleep after fighting the Gods and their allies in the Gigantomachy; a war between them and mother along with my… younger siblings the Giants. The Giants being born as revenge for our loss against my nieces and nephews. Made to be Banes to each of the Gods. A counter in terms of power. After the Giants were defeated along with Typhon," he said clearly not minding Subaru's rudeness; seeing our confusion he added context. "Another sibling born between mother and Tartarus the primordial of the pit or hell if any of you have such a concept." Sunny almost snorted and he thought he heard Effie did too; he and the rest definitely knew of hell. They all practically lived in it by now. "Typhon is also known as the Father of All Monsters."
"Yeah, he deserves the title too. Last time I saw him he had been fighting most of the Olympians for days a across the country before he was stopped and dragged under the sea by dad. Must've been a lot stronger before he was imprisoned too." Percy added, a frown on his face.
"I remember Hades grumbling to himself about that; something about more paperwork? No doubt their fight battle led to an influx of mortal souls. I did not envy him at all those few weeks." Bob adds. "So much paper work, and so many souls to mop up." The last part said with a look of exasperation, and Sunny found himself pitying the deity a bit. Wait, how did you go about mopping souls?
"Gods do paper work too?" Sunny heard Jet mumble.
"What does the monster look like?" asked Effie. Why would she want to see what it looked like? Knowing her though, Sunny figured she might've wanted to know what something that could give Gods trouble looked like. Probably the best description of an Unholy monster they'd get in their lifetime besides the Stone Titan, but even that was not nearly a good enough description compared to someone who had seen such a monster relatively recently.
Percy shrugged, "To mortals he looks like a massive freak storm and tornadoes. To most demigods he looks like a colossal shadow figure covered by dark clouds. When I looked at him, I saw blisters the size buildings, claws that could take out city blocks, and feet the size of a stadium." Sunny and the rest of the groups look to Bob for a more detailed description.
"Tall enough to where his head touches the sky, a bit human-like from the waste up, mostly his abdomen and chest, on each of his hands he has a hundred fingers tipped with red-eyed serpent heads. Black leathery wings on his back, legs are made of serpents, and hair that gives off the scent of volcanic smoke." Bob expanded on Percy's description and continued with, "It's a good thing you and the rest of the demigods didn't get a good look at him. Staring too long would've caused you to go insane whether you're a demigod or mortal." A pause. "Or die. Yes, dying would be possible; though it'd be caused by the insanity" He says.
Effie sighed, "Thats about what I expected an Unholy to look like." She didn't look surprised in the slightest at the abomination described; if anything, she looked a bit disappointed/relieved; what could cause that? Sunny wouldn't know.
"Unholy?" Bob asks, an eyebrow raised.
"A category of abomination or monster in where we are from. Divine monsters simply. We've only seen and interacted with their corpses." Nephis spoke.
"Interesting, when your turn comes, I'd like to hear more about these monsters and how they came to be." He tells her.
"I'm afraid we don't know how they came to be, but I can tell you what we know." She responds.
He hums in thought, "Very well." He sounds like he's contemplating something, but what that something is? Sunny wouldn't know. Useless to think about too; a God was not something he should try to guess the thoughts of. "As for how her being put to sleep affected her ability to gather power, it didn't." He must've seen something on our faces because he let a chuckle. "She's in a half-awake state and can only partially use her power now; to fully awaken and use her power she'd need the blood of Percy or another powerful demigod along with a ritual."
"Half-awake and she still was able to revive the Giants," Percy grumbles. "I'd rather just be dealing with her alone and beat her with the others and the Gods if Zues stopped being paranoid for a bit."
Bob chuckles, "You'll do fine Percy. Both you and Annabeth will not die anytime soon I assure you." Of course, he knows how long someone has left to live, truly what Sunny was expecting regarding a deity's power. "I realize we have gotten somewhat off topic, and I shall just list some of the powers I know mother has so you can have a general idea of her and her siblings' power."
