Departure Day Arrives

An hour later...

Sitting on the edge of the bed, Leon let out a quiet sigh of relief as his four little girls finally calmed down.

"What a tiring hour," he murmured with a faint smile. "But it was worth it."

Soothing children was no easy task, especially when they were crying.

For the past hour, he had been trying to explain things in a way they could accept, but they simply wouldn't listen.

Well, considering how long they would be apart, he couldn't blame them. He chose not to get angry or make a big deal out of it.

Fortunately, in the end, he managed to help them understand and ease their worries.

Shaking off his thoughts, he looked at them warmly.

"Alright, it's late. Time for bed. Let's get you back to your rooms," he said, playfully pinching their chubby cheeks one by one.

A quick glance at the clock on the wall told him it was almost midnight—far too late for children to still be awake.
