Interdimensional Rift

Basic Elementary School held its 40th Basic Elementary School Graduation Ceremony for the 10 year olds in the school hall.
During the ceremony, as Headmaster Na gave out his speech to the attending parents and reporters, Ivan was bidding farewell to his classmates and friends despite some unwillingness left in his heart.
In his opinion, the young boy has made many memories during these 3 years in Basic Elementary school.
From the day he entered school as the weakest student to beating every senior he met till they all recognized him as the strongest student of the school.
After the graduation ceremony ended, the school grounds possessed an air of happiness, sadness, and unwillingness due to the graduating 10 year olds.
Some elementary students were happy to graduate, some were sad that they were parting with their best friends.
Either way, everybody was ready to start their new journeys.
But just as a family of five was about to leave the school's compound, the earth under the elementary school began quaking violently.
"An earthquake?"
"What's going on??"
"Stay close to the ground and don't move!"
Everyone was in a state of panic. The parents hugged their children while the school staff were running around while casting nature soothing spells to quell the shaking earth.
Out of the blue, sirens located around the school began howling in unison as the school's broadcasting system turned on.
A loud and clear voice followed after.
"Attention all present Jumpers! This is A-rank Jumper, Liew Weng of the P.E. department. I'm here to report that a Grade 5 Interdimensional Rift is about to appear in the school's field! I repeat! A Grade 5 Interdimensional Rift is about to appear in the school's field!"
"Junior Jumpers, please evacuate all present families and school staff near the school field to safety. As for the senior Jumpers, prepare for battle!"
Just as Liew Weng finished up his report, the air around the elementary school became heavy as a large crack appeared above the school field.
The parents along with their children who were still glued to the ground quickly found themselves being carried away by the junior teachers using gravity manipulation magic.
As for the senior teachers, some of them began drawing magic circles around the giant crack while others took out their soulbound artifacts and prepared for battle.
By the time the giant crack in space had reached the same height as the school's clock tower, all normal civilians and non-combat school staff had already been escorted out of the school compound safely.
"The interdimensional rift is going to appear soon!"
"Casters! Are the traps ready yet?" Standing before the giant space crack with a giant saber strapped to his back, Liew Feng looked towards a female teacher and asked.
"Yes Sir, there's at least one hidden mine per 2m^2 while Electric Cross has been littered everywhere else around the giant crack!" The female teacher replied.
"Wonderful!" Liew Weng praised. He then turned towards a janitor and inquired. "Are the knights and archers ready?"
A school janitor nodded back. "Yes Sir! Though we haven't fought dimensional beasts for 10 years now, we still hone our skills everyday."
"Hahaha, what a hard working bunch of Jumpers indeed. Well then, let's quickly subdue the beasts and close the rift. This should be easy enough."
After hearing confirmation from both sides, Liew Weng pulled the saber off his back before pointing it at the giant space crack while standing in a battle stance.
Minutes later, when the giant space crack expanded to a certain size, the giant space crack finally burst open before a green portal formed within the gap in space.
Following that, a green komodo lizard the size of a truck slowly crawled out of the green portal.
But just as the first interdimensional beast jumped out of the green interdimensional rift, Liew Weng along with his knights had already charged ahead to kill the interdimensional beast.
"The Grade 5 Interdimensional Rift has opened! Knights, charge!"
Being the vanguard of this rift subjugation team, Liew Weng was the first to clash with the giant komodo dragon with his saber.
Within a breath of time, the A-rank Jumper had already sent out multiple saber slashes at the giant komodo dragon.
The giant komodo dragon was no slouch either.
It saw this and immediately retaliated by spewing out green flames at the saber slashes, corroding them into ashes easily.
"Casters, please grant us the Protection of Fire and Poison! The green portal indicates that the beasts that come out are fire and poison users!"
"Yes Sir!"
"On it!"
"Will do!"
Without wasting a single second, the casters in the back murmured something before directing their protection spells towards the knights in the front.
Immediately, the knights had a yellow hue to them while they felt significantly stronger when fighting against the giant komodo dragon.
Each slash and stab of theirs became heavier while the giant komodo dragon's green flame did nothing to the knights.
After clashing with the giant komodo dragon for a bit longer, Liew Weng finally finished it off by chopping off the lizard's head with his saber.
"The Grade 4 Poison Fire Komodo Dragon has been defeated. Get ready! The next opponent is a horde type beast!" Without letting his team rest, Liew Weng shouted in a solemn tone.
As if he already knew about the pattern the interdimensional beasts would come out from the green portal, a horde of Venomous Bees followed by a flock of Blazing Eagles flew out of the portal in a wild manner.
"Casters, focus your spells on the Venomous Bees. They are weak to lightning and fire magic. Archers, nock your elemental arrows. Only shoot when I give the signal." [Liew Weng]
"Yes Sir!" [Casters]
"Yes Sir!" [Archers]
"As for the knights, protect the archers and casters with all of your might! If they fall, we along the school will fall too!" [Liew Feng]
"Sir, yes sir!" [Knights]
