Change of Protagonist Role

"So, this is where I'll be attending classes now...?"

A young man with long hair stepped out of the taxi he had been riding in and walked towards the gate of Tsinghua University with steps filled with doubt and amazement. Because, he was slightly surprised that he would enter the university through a special route he didn't expect!

"I-I really made it into my dream university, the best university in Beijing-!!!!!" he exclaimed with an expression of immense happiness and pride.

He was Mao Zi, a young man from the outskirts of Chengdu, Sichuan. The city was nearly 1000 miles away from Beijing.

The reason he could enter this university was because he had previously saved a dean of the university with his medical skills, which he acquired after training on Mount Tai with an old priest who brought him from the impoverished village on the outskirts of Chengdu.

His body was slender but slightly muscular, standing at around 174 cm tall, quite tall for an Asian young man. Then, the most striking thing about Mao Zi was his attire; he wore only ancient Hufu clothes that attracted attention from everyone around him.

"Who was that weird guy laughing just now?"

"I don't know, maybe from what he just said, he might be a lucky village boy who managed to get into this university."

"It seems so. It can be seen from his look that he seems like a clueless kid."

"He also looks like an ancient boy..."

The murmurs and conversations from around made Mao Zi feel a little embarrassed and annoyed. "Huhhh, what's there to be proud of about being born in the capital?"

Then, he entered the campus to complete the first task assigned by the dean: to meet with the relevant professors and senior students there.

"Alright, college life, here I come!"

And so, another protagonist entered the story.

In a high-security prison in China, a man opened his eyes and saw light streaming in from outside the door, indicating that guards were entering the prison cell complex. And indeed, he saw a group of guards tightly chaining a man.

"Hmmm… Who's that man?" he muttered as he observed the figure being brought in by the guards, but it was not clear who he was.

Then they opened his cell door and threw the man inside the cramped cell he currently occupied. When he looked closely at the man's face, he froze in place.

Gasp—

After a few moments, he opened his mouth, "Old Ji, why are you here?!!"

When the man called Old Ji heard that name, he opened his eyes and looked at the man who spoke, hesitantly confirming, "Tang Chen…?"

Old Ji was one of the men fought by Louis before. After the battle, before they could escape, the police and hundreds of soldiers had surrounded the entire toll road area, leaving only an escape route for Louis.

Some of them managed to escape, but some didn't, and Old Ji was one of those who failed to escape because he was injured by a deep sword stab in his abdomen.

After recovering slightly, Old Ji then answered Tang Chen's question with a little doubt, and Tang Chen drew the conclusion, "Hahhh? You launched an attack and surrounded the scoundrel who imprisoned me. But he managed to escape, and some of you were caught by the police...? How could you all be so foolish?!!!"

Hearing that, Old Ji growled slightly and responded with a slightly raised voice, "It's all because of the orders from the Great Lord, who was furious because you couldn't even fight against a brat like him and ended up in jail! If only you hadn't done something foolish like that, maybe no one would have had to chase him down only to be surrounded by the police-!!"

Upon hearing that, Tang Chen's face darkened slightly, and he then scolded the man with a loud voice, "You should be the one being foolish!! How could you bring so many people but still fail to capture him-!!!!"

"You arrogant brat-!! You never said he had martial arts skills above average!!"

"Damn!! How could I say that when I'm already imprisoned?!!!" Tang Chen shouted in frustration.

Then, they started arguing and fighting each other, triggering the security alarm and bringing in many guards from outside to separate them.

"Tch!! I wonder why the Great Lord trusts you as his right-hand man!" Old Ji taunted, spitting blood from his mouth.

"You!! YOUU-!!!"

"You two, stop it unless you want to be put in the white room."

Although the guards said that, it seemed they both didn't care and continued to fight, so they had no choice but to incapacitate them both in an extreme way.

After subduing them, the guard then instructed his colleague, "Alright, now take these two scoundrels to the white room and let them stay there for the next month."

"Got it!"
