Adaptation

The next few years on Earth passed by quicker than anyone could have imagined. The news of Mark's godhood spread far and wide on Earth, just like Mark had intended it to, and with the popularity came new followers and a surge in members from the Cult of Vanitas that were dedicated to following Mark.

Mark had told Luna and Arit everything about what he went through. There weren't many people in the world that Mark trusted wholeheartedly. The only person who held that privilege before was Mark's godfather, who had taken care of him when his parents died. But now, Arit and Luna were the two people that Mark cared about the most in the world, and Mark decided that they deserved to know about his story more than anyone else.

At first, it was a little difficult for them to wrap their heads around the fact that Mark was now a literal god. 

But after a while, it became less unbelievable and they were able to go with the flow of things more easily.
