Don't expect an apology, Amara

Lily's unwavering loyalty truly touched my heart. Despite all the hardships she had faced—both physical and emotional scars that would forever mark her—she remained devoted to me. It struck me deeply that even after everything, she could still care for someone like me, especially when she had every right to be bitter.

Her willingness to endure suffering was driven by a desire to repay the man who saved her, the very man I had lost. Thinking about everything I had done to Killian, I was unsure of how she would react after knowing my truth. She would surely hate me, but after everything she had suffered for me, for Killian, for us, she deserved to know. I had to tell her everything.

"Lily, there is something I need to tell you," I whispered.

She looked at me slowly.

"I'm not Princess Amelia," I confessed. "I am Amara, just a common girl like you."

"Wh…what?" she stammered, bewildered.
