Going to the dungeons

"Who are you?!" I screamed, rising from my chair. I slammed my hand down on the table, the sound echoing through the room, filled with rage and anger.

For a split second, I saw Cassius's face transform into something dark, something sinister. It was as if an evil shadow had washed over his face, a dark force that seemed to bore into me, hungry and predatory. A cold shiver crawled down my spine, and goosebumps erupted across my skin. My heart raced in fear but I forced myself to see what this was.

But before I could fully understand what I was seeing, the shadow disappeared leaving me bewildered. "What was that?" I muttered under my breath.

Cassius remained unfazed. He simply smiled at me while running his tongue along the corner of his lips. He set down his spoon and fork, wiped his mouth, and rose from his seat. "If you're done eating, let's go," he said casually.

"Where?"

He didn't answer.
