Year 2086

The rain continued to pour along with the loud thunder, as if it was cooperating at that certain moment. The cold breeze of that night was overwhelming yet it didn't stop the middle age stranger to move forward, towards the place he considered home.

He struggled to walk towards it because of the storm but he wasn't bothered by it. All he wanted to do was to see if the house was still surviving. Eros endured those challenges until he finally reached his destination, only to find out that it was destroyed. Home was destroyed. Completely wrecked.

Eros once again stare at the place and only sigh. He was disappointed and sad but he wasn't surprised, but he kinda hoped that it was still fine. That is maybe the reason why he still pursues to come despite the bad weather.

"Oh? What's this?" the stranger/Eros asked while looking at some bulge on the land covered with soil and leaves. Out of curiosity, the man started to clear the place by removing some of the huge leaves and woods that were his family's house before. The landslide seemed to wreck everything that was here. The area was such a mess.

He didn't expect the storm to be very strong because that's what the news outlet said. Or maybe he underestimated it. Eros sighed once again.

The storm resulted in numerous wrecked trees, houses, landslides and floods, in short it was such a disaster. Eros felt a sting of pain in his chest. He doesn't know where to place his sadness anymore. He can't do anything about it because he himself knows that it was part of the cycle of life to lose something important.

Eros could only stare at the place and snap back to clean again.

After cleaning the area, he exhaled out of frustration. The area seems better now. He was about to leave the place, already in acceptance when he saw a figure or...a corpse lying with so much blood on its body.

He attempted to blink many times to reassure himself. What the? Is that really a person? Closing the gaps between them, he confirmed his thoughts. It was indeed a corpse. With his trembling and sweating hands, he immediately grabbed the boy.

Eros checked his pulse and breathings if he really was a corpse. He sighed in relief when he felt a hint of pulse. "This mysterious person is still alive I guess."

For an unknown reason, Eros brought the body near his cab. He even managed to take care of it. After placing the teenager on a clean extra mat that he bought, he started to inspect the boy. He had two gunshots, lots of open wounds and even half of his face was damaged. What a coincidence.

He touched his face and removed the dirt on it. He saw lots of blood in his hands. Smiling bitterly, the stranger named Eros, suddenly remembered his son. "If only he was alive, he might be a year older than this guy."

Taking a deep breath, he did everything he could do just to save this mysterious yet interesting person. After covering the wounds of the young man, he performed a CPR hoping he could be alive. With he's life on the edge, Eros started to pump his chest, doing it carefully in the right way.

Considering the footprints and from his appearance, the man assumes that the young teenager probably murdered someone and proceeds to run away with all of his life in the middle of the storm a few hours ago, before ending up here in the forest and becoming one of the victims of the big landslide.

The young man suddenly started to faintly breathe and with the amazement of the stranger, brought him to the vehicle that he uses. Hoping for his friend to save this mysterious young man.

Eros was about to start the engine until his eyes scanned the side mirror. Shivers run down to his spine and his soul almost leaves his body when he recognizes them.

Looking at the side mirror, Eros saw a lot of men wearing black tuxedos while carrying laser guns that are obviously trying to find a person. They look like they just arrived.

Everything felt like flashback, Eros's hands filled with blood, their grins and laughter as they watched how he grieved for his dead son. It felt like he was in a pitch black hole, with no chance to escape. All of those memories give him goosebumps all over his body.

Eros looked at the body on the backseat and came to a conclusion that the person they were looking for was probably the boy he just found out today.

Eros could hear his heart beating really fast. He didn't know this person and yet he felt obliged to save him. Enveloped by his fear, with trembling hands he started to drive, running away with a young stranger that survived.

Even with these kinds of damages, this person managed to be alive for a few hours which is suspicious. No normal person could survive these injuries. Unless he's–Eros shook his head. Impossible. He brushed those thoughts off and started to drive faster to avoid them or rather, the loyal dogs of RAY.

When they looked at the car that was owned by him, they raised their guns, pointing it towards the wheels. Eros gulped and sweats were travelling down from his forehead to his chin. They both needed to live. He can't afford to let something happen again just like what happened to his son before.

Before Geno even pressed the trigger to fire the vehicle, somebody called. The phone kept on ringing continuously. They were about to disregard it when they saw the screen. It was the name of him.

The man in the suit was so distracted by that name that he completely missed his shot. The others looked at him, glaring to immediately respond to that call. Geno rolled his eyes and put the gun down, then picked up the call.

"Good evening Geno. Any updates?" someone asked on the phone. It was a robotic voice. It was indeed him. That made Geno gulp when his name was mentioned. It took a lot of courage to respond.

"Unfortunately not. We are sorry about it. We'll do our best to keep on track with him." the man in black said nervously and silently wishing for his life to be spared. A chuckled was heard on the other line of the phone.

"Don't worry about it. Just continue to track Axis. I'll personally find him in sometime. Focus first on tracking where he is." an old man said while sitting on his expensive and well designed chair on his phone.

The other side hung up, when somebody silently entered the room, watching the old man throw a tantrum.

The old man threw the wine he was drinking and with a growl, he took one cigarette and lit it up. With a smoke release, he cursed when he realized someone was here and looked on his side.

The person that just entered the room was sitting comfortably on the couch, unbothered with a devious grin on his face. Making the old man pale.

"I'll wait for that time. ODM. Don't break the deal." the man on the couch said before leaving in a blink of an eye.
