The New Girl | Chapter 2

It was just like another day of High School until a new girl showed up in our class. Unlike most people in our class, she wouldn't even tell us her name. The teacher told us her name. Her name was Rose Solace. Which seemed like a weird name but it was a pretty name. She came and sat near the back row but at the window. She glanced over at me and saw me staring at her. I looked away real fast but I knew she had seen me well stare at her. After class had ended she walked to me and asked if I knew where room 403 was. I told her yes and started to get my things in my backpack. I looked up and her eyes were a pretty light purple color. She asked me if I was done. I looked down and grabbed my backpack, and got up. We were walking down the hallway when we saw a kid getting bullied by Tyler, the school bully. But has never gotten caught hurting anyone. I kept walking past them because I didn't wanna be a part of any of it. But Rose stopped and looked at Tyler. I pulled her arm but she didn't move. Tyler looked at Rose and let the kid go. Rose asked " Why do you bully kids you jerk!? " I looked down and Tyler came up to her and asked " Who do you think you are hot stuff? " Rose looked at me " I'm the girl that's gonna stop you from messing with any more kids. " Tyler laughed " Is that right? " She sighed " Yes " Tyler got close to Rose and she looked him dead in the eyes. Tyler looked at her up and down, I saw Rose's hands ball up. Before I could even blink Tyler was on the ground with a busted nose. Rose looked down at him " Next time pick on someone your own size. " Tyler's friends helped him get up. He looked at me then Rose " Next time I'll make sure they don't walk away from it ". Tyler walked off and Rose just got mad and went to walk out the school doors. I grabbed her hand ¨ Hey we still have school going on ¨ She sighed ¨ Who cares ¨ she pulled away and walked to the football stadium. I followed her, She sat down and started to cry. I looked at her ¨ Hey are you okay Rose? ¨ She keeps looking at the ground ¨ NO ¨. She sat down on the bench and I sat beside her. She cried and cried and cried, I was thinking in my head to pull her over to me and try to comfort her but I decided not to. Instead, I just took my hoodie sleeve and wiped away her tears. She looked at me all sad ¨ Wh..why would you do that? I don't even know your name. ¨ I looked down at the ground. ¨I'm Aaron, Aaron Lycan. I did that because you needed it.¨ We both smiled and started to cuddle until we drifted off to sleep.
