{A full functional power-up takes a lot of time. AM2's unique energy source that provides all the power needed to circulate the mothership is still at a semi-psionic level. It takes up to 600 seconds to supply power to the mothership. For battle mode, the commander has to designate priority power channels to specific sections of the mothership. Either the AM2 unique energy channels power to the thrusters for full speed. Or to the shield, weapons, FTL drives, and many more. Choosing this option in a battle can reduce critical damage. Fret not, commander; this option will not hamper the full booting up of the mothership. It is there for emergencies like an ambush or thereabouts.}
