At one point, they found themselves cornered at the edge of a cliff overlooking a raging river.

The spirits subordinates closed in, their hands reaching out. Lysander acted quickly, casting a spell that caused the cliffside to open, revealing a hidden passage. They plunged into the darkness, the spirits' yells echoing behind them.

The passage led them to tunnels. Here, the air was thick and oppressive, and the walls seemed to pulse with a malevolent energy. This is a place where the veil between realms was thin and wild spirit beasts roamed freely.

Navigating the tunnel was a test of endurance and will. They encountered traps and illusions—remains of ancient bones meant to deter intruders. At one point, they were faced with a shadowy apparition, a guardian of the tunnel, who demanded a toll to pass.
