Reconciliation

I heard a knock at the door, and I recognized it was Yusuf. The moment I thought that, Aisha’s phone rang—it was him calling. I was certain he was the one at the door. Aisha answered the call.

"Hello, I'm at the door. Please come and open," he said.

"In a jiffy," Aisha responded, quickly heading to the door.

"Hi, good day! Where is she?" he asked Aisha.

"Hello, dear. I'm doing well. How about you?" she replied.

"I’m not fine until I see her," he said, clearly eager.

With a reassuring smile, Aisha said, "She's over there in the sitting room."

Yusuf entered the room, and I noticed his serious demeanour. I turned to face him, crossing my arms, but I was willing to engage. He settled next to me and took a moment before speaking sincerely.

"Hey, dear, peace be upon you. I’m here to reconcile and express my sincere apologies. I hope you’ll give me the chance to make things right."
