40. EYES

"Eyes on eyes,

Telling lies,

Who's hiding,

On who's side,

People flying kites so high,

Oh, that's my attitude in the sky"

It was a hungry afternoon. They were all gathered to have lunch together. Waqas, Mahara, Mirhan, Wali, Lateefa and; Zohra was, obviously on the bed.

The clicking sound of spoons and plate resonated in the silence of the noon. It was not an awkward lunch but neither it was pleasant. They want to talk but at the same time they couldn't help their ownself to open their mouths and say anything.

Mahara was enjoying all these. A lunch together with her crush and brother, what a wonderful thing. She shyly looked at Wali through her lashes but a sour frown pulled above her face seeing him already looking at someone else, and that someone else was none other than, Lateefa.
