Chapter-1: I am really your husband

Feng Xuanyi slowly opened his eyes from bewilderment, only to be greeted by a vast sea of fire. Flames seemed to burn endlessly, engulfing everything in the village, with billowing thick smoke rising. The pungent smell of smoke and the wolf corpses scattered on the ground fully awakened him.

Standing before him was a woman, her jade-like bones and icy skin dressed in white palace robes, resembling snow. Her clothes fluttered, akin to a celestial being descending to the mortal world.

With a beautiful face, the woman named Xue Yanshuang furrowed her brows in concern as she looked at him.

"I actually didn't die. Yan Shuang, how did you end up here? Did you save me? I love you..."

Seeing this breathtaking woman, Feng Xuanyi trembled, his face expressing disbelief. After speaking, he immediately rushed towards her, spreading his arms to embrace her.

The beautiful woman, dressed in white like snow, watched as he woke up and dashed towards her. Her face was full of amazement, momentarily forgetting to react, allowing him to embrace her, and standing there at a loss

"I can't believe I didn't die. It's so good to see you again. By the way, where's Qingyan? Yan Shuang, did you save her?" Feng Xuanyi asked excitedly, looking around as he spoke.

"How do you know my name? What are you talking about? I don't know you. Let go quickly," the beautiful woman said urgently, trying to break free from Feng Xuanyi's grasp.

"Yan Shuang, have you forgotten me? I'm Xuan Yi, your husband," Feng Xuanyi said in a hurry when he saw her getting angry. He continued, "I didn't die on purpose, I sacrificed myself to help her escape from the trap. By the way, why did you grow so much taller..."

Thinking that she was mad at him, Feng Xuanyi continued to hold her a bit tighter. Suddenly, he realized something was wrong as he looked at Xue Yanshuang. The woman turned out to be much taller, and he found himself only reaching up to her thigh.

The beautiful woman blushed at this moment, looking troubled. Her face, even with a slight frown, was as beautiful as his wife's, and there was that familiar, delicate fragrance. Who else could it be if not his wife, Han Yan?

"I don't care who you are. Just because you're a child doesn't mean I won't fight back. Let go, or I won't be polite," the woman in white said frostily.

"Yan Shuang, don't you recognize me? I'm Xuan Yi. Have you saved Qingyan?" Feng Xuan Yi asked excitedly, looking around for something.

The woman finally reached her limit, and a powerful, icy aura spread out from her like a blooming ice lotus. Feng Xuan Yi was blown several meters away, landing on the sturdy and stiff mud floor, feeling pain all over his body.

"Yan Shuang, why are you treating me like this? Are you trying to murder your own husband? I didn't leave you alone on purpose," he said in disbelief, looking at the woman with a sad expression.

"Little Feng, what's wrong with you? Why are you talking nonsense? Hurry and apologize to the fairy! Fairy, please don't be angry. He was just temporarily stimulated..." A hurried voice came from nearby, with a hint of childishness but also some organization.

Feng Xuan Yi turned to look, seeing a handsome young boy not far away, with some bloodstains and ashes on his face. He was staring at him in surprise.

Feng Xuan Yi widened his eyes. Wasn't this Ye Jiusi? Why did he look like a child? What's going on?

Before he could say anything, in the midst of his turbulent emotions, he suddenly felt a pain in his chest and spat out a mouthful of blood before fainting.

After an unknown amount of time, Feng Xuan Yi woke up abruptly, sitting up with heavy breaths, and trembling hands. He shouted, "Yan Shuang!"

Before waking up, his mind was filled with various events from his early life, the intrigues and struggles in The Star Sanctum, and the love and hatred with Xue Yanshuang. The looming stone gate kept appearing, and finally, the life-and-death struggle with Li Qingyan.

It was a series of bizarre and nightmarish scenes.

Feng Xuanyi settled his mind, looking around. This was an ordinary compartment, with two small windows. The room was simply and cleanly furnished, with a few pine tables and chairs, along with a water kettle and cups.

Looking like a common inn room or a room shared by several disciples seeking instruction, Feng Xuanyi found himself lying on the only bed in the room. Several boys were sitting around the tables, chatting.

Next to the bed, Ye Jiusi was guarding him, a hint of worry between his eyebrows.

Seeing Feng Xuanyi waking up, Ye Jiusi's face softened slightly, and he asked with concern, "Little Feng, are you okay? Why did you suddenly go crazy, holding onto the fairy who saved our lives?"

"Jiusi?" Feng Xuanyi couldn't believe his ears and opened his mouth.

Ye Jiusi nodded heavily, his handsome little face showing a sad expression. "Although everyone in the Feng family's village, except us two, is gone, I know you're very sad. But don't scare me, okay?"

Feng Xuanyi stared at him blankly for a long time before realizing. He quickly reached out his hands, which were not small and had some calluses left by the labor of poor children. However, compared to the scars and injuries left by his future battles, these hands were too delicate.

He opened his left sleeve, revealing a deep scar on his left arm, stitched up like a centipede. It was an injury from his childhood farm work, but it was washed away by the cultivation method after he began practicing.

I've returned to the past!

This was when the village was attacked by wolves. His ten-year-old self and Ye Jiusi were saved by Xue Yanshuang, and now they were boarding a spaceship to the Wentian Sect.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door and opened it. All the boys in the room quieted down.

A beautiful and graceful woman entered the room and asked, "Which one is Feng Xuanyi? Our lord wants to see you. Follow me!"

Ye Jiusi nervously looked at Feng Xuanyi upon hearing this, afraid it was Xue Yanshuang coming to hold him accountable.

Feng Xuan Yi put on a smile and reassured him, "It's okay. I was just temporarily stimulated earlier. I'll go and apologize to the fairy. I'll be back soon."

Accompanied by the maid guiding the way, Feng Xuanyi walked out of the room. On the corridor, he could see that this was a three-story spaceship, resembling a large ship on land. Despite being in the air, there was no sense of swaying, and everything felt stable.

His mind was in turmoil, and he wondered if he had died and transmigrated back. Xue Yanshuang didn't recognize him yet, and they hadn't become a couple.

The most prudent approach was to pretend he had gone mad due to temporary stimulation. However, he had already shouted Xue Yanshuang's name, which would be difficult to explain.

Xue Yanshuang rarely revealed her true name, using the title of "Fairy of the Guang Han" in front of outsiders. Few people knew her real name. Based on his experience in the previous life, if he didn't make some changes now, he would likely be sent off the ship and become an outer disciple, doing menial tasks.

Ye Jiusi, with his extraordinary cultivation talent, would be taken inside the sect and become a core disciple.

Feng Xuanyi had struggled for several years among the outer disciples, finally entering the desolated Infinite Hall as an ordinary disciple. After more years of struggle, he became a core disciple.

Thinking of the chaotic future, Feng Xuanyi knew time was running out, and he couldn't afford to cultivate slowly.

Regardless of the situation, he must gain enough strength in a short period. Since he had already called out Xue Yanshuang's name, he needed to make her believe that he was her husband.

He had to quickly enter the Wen Tian Sect, gain enough power, and protect himself and Liu Hanyan.
