Chapter-8:Memories of Youth

To be honest, in his previous life, he entered the sect twenty years late, so at that time, Luo Yuqian was already a stunning beauty. He once harbored feelings for Luo Yuqian and secretly admired her for some time.

Upon seeing the beauty from his youth again, he was filled with a myriad of emotions. With a serious expression, he bowed respectfully and smiled, saying, "Feng Xuanyi greets Senior Sister."

"Junior Brother, you're so obedient! Heehee…" Luo Yuqian glade as if she had found a treasure. She didn't expect this seemingly clueless kid to be so quick-witted.

She happily turned to He Xinyi and said, "Mother, this kid is quite clever! He even takes the initiative to call me Senior Sister." Her cute and playful appearance made several senior brothers and sisters couldn't help but laugh, and Feng Xuanyi followed suit.

Luo Yuqian had always been ranked at the bottom in the Infinite Hall. Although other senior brothers and sisters cherished her very much, there was a big age gap between them. Now suddenly having a peer as a junior brother, it was no wonder she was so happy.

Luo Yuqian cheerfully said, "Be good, junior brother. You must listen to your senior sister in the future."

Feng Xuanyi responded, "Yes, senior sister."

He Xinyi shook her head helplessly and said to Zhou Xuchen, "Xuchen, your junior brother is still young and entered the sect late. When he attends classes with Yuqian, you should take care of him more and don't let the junior disciples bully him."

Zhou Xuchen respectfully replied, "Yes, Mistress, rest assured."

Then, the true disciples nearby also stepped forward one by one to introduce themselves to Feng Xuanyi and offer their greetings.

With Feng Xuanyi included, there are now a total of eighteen true disciples under Luo Qingfeng's tutelage. Among them, three are currently out on missions, leaving only fifteen, including Feng Xuanyi, in the Infinite Hall. Although Luo Yuqian is Lu Qingfeng's daughter, she is also one of Lu Qingfeng's true disciples.

Currently, only Feng Xuanyi and Luo Yuqian, along with seven other senior brothers who entered the sect in the past few decades, have not yet qualified for opening a peak.

These nine individuals happen to be eligible to participate in the True Martial Ranking's Oustanding Talent group, while others like Zhou Xuchen have been cultivating for over a hundred years and thus they participate in the Heavenly Prodigy group.

Having lived two lifetimes, Feng Xuanyi is naturally familiar with all of Lu Qingfeng's disciples, he met them one by one. One of them, who appears to be in his seventies, is Feng Xuanyi's second senior brother, Xuanqing Daoist. This person's hair and beard are all white, with long eyebrows and a flowing beard, and looks even more mature than the Master, Lu Qingfeng himself. If he were to claim to be the master of Wujidien to those unaware of the truth, it's unlikely anyone would doubt him. He is kind and congenial, although he started cultivating relatively late, his talent is extraordinary. He is currently a high-level expert in the late Yuan Infant Stage, similar to Zhou Xuchen's level.

One man with a cold demeanor and a woman in red attire left a strong impression on Feng Xuanyi. The man with the cold demeanor is Feng Xuanyi's third senior brother, Shen Mingyu, who is in the mid-Yuan Infant Stage. The woman in red is his fourth senior sister, Huang Lin'er, although her appearance is average, her demeanor is extraordinary, and she is in the early Yuan Infant Stage.

Huang Linger and Luoyuqian were extremely close, and later became Daoist partners with the third senior brother. These four individuals were the experts in the Yuan Infant Stage among the disciples of Infinite Hall. Feng Xuanyi suspected that one of these four was a traitor who had plotted against Luo Qingfeng, leading to the downfall of Wujidien. However, Feng Xuanyi had never found out who it was in his previous life. Now, he carefully observed the expressions and behavior of these individuals but could not detect any clues.

After meeting with his senior brothers and sisters, He Xinyi instructed, "Xuchen, Xuanyi is still young, it's the time for laying foundations. Arrange for him to stay in the LunarGlow Courtyard on the main peak."

"Take him to get familiar with the surroundings first, change his clothes, and then come join everyone for dinner."

He Xinyi gave some instructions and then instructed all the true disciples to stay behind and have dinner together, considering it a celebration of Feng Xuanyi's joining.

The two walked towards the majestic courtyard, one in front and the other behind. Zhou Xuchen introduced Feng Xuanyi to various courtyards along the way.

Zhou Xuchen smiled, "Xiaofeng, I'll guide you around today to get you familiar with the pathways. And by the way, I'll tell you about the rules and regulations of the sect. In the future, you'll have to come and go on your own."

Feng Xuanyi nodded in agreement; after living here for so long in his previous life, he naturally knew these well.

The backyard serves as the residence for Luo Qingfeng and the true disciples. It occupies an extensive area with pavilions and towers arranged harmoniously, with clear springs murmuring and lush greenery adorning the courtyard. While referred to as the backyard, it resembles more of a vast estate

Luo Qingfeng and his family reside in the 'Enlightenment Courtyard,' nestled in the heart of the estate. While Feng Xuanyi's residence remains unchanged from his previous life, except that now he moved in more than twenty years earlier than planned.

That is a small courtyard situated adjacent to the Enlightenment Courtyard. Although the courtyard is modest in size, it features a three-story building and a picturesque landscape with artificial hills and flowing water, adorned with a verdant pine tree and numerous bamboo plants.

The courtyard is also set up with array formations and possesses the effect of gathering the essence of moonlight, which proves highly beneficial for cultivation. Hence, it is named the LunarGlow Courtyard

Originally occupied by Zhou Xucheng, the residence became vacant after he opened a peak alone.

As the sky darkens, with the sunset casting its glow upon the Western Mountains and the evening sky painted in hues of crimson, Feng Xuanyi listens to Zhou Xucheng's familiar and hearty voice, gazing at his tall and sturdy figure, unable to suppress a gentle smile of nostalgia. Returning to the Infinite Hall might not be a bad idea after all; his Master and Mistress have always treated him well.

After taking a stroll around, Zhou Xucheng returns to the LunarGlow Courtyard with Xiao Yifeng, where a menial disciple already waiting for them.

On their way back, Zhou Xucheng had already used a communication jade talisman to instruct a menial disciple to deliver Feng Xuanyi's disciple robe and identity token to his room. Despite Zhou Xucheng's simple and honest appearance, he was meticulous in his work, leaving no detail overlooked, and this earned him the deep trust of Luo Qingfeng and his wife. After entering the courtyard, Zhou Xucheng sat in the first-floor hall, waiting while Feng Xuanyi went upstairs to change his clothes.

Shortly after, Feng Xuanyi descended the stairs wearing a jade crown, a white robe with a light blue overcoat, and a jade belt adorned with a blue jade pendant hanging from his waist. He looked almost identical to Zhou Xucheng in attire, albeit slightly smaller in size.

In the Wen Tian Sect, there was a strict hierarchy among disciples, usually discerned by the color of their outer coats. Menial disciples wore grey coats, ordinary and second-generation disciples wore white, while true disciples wore light blue.

After looking at Feng Xuanyi's attire carefully for a while, Zhou Xucheng laughed heartily and exclaimed, "Junior Brother Feng, you truly are remarkable! Especially when you put on our sect's attire. You look extraordinarily handsome. You'll be extraordinary when you grow up!"

Feng Xuanyi scratched his head awkwardly and replied, "Senior Brother, please don't tease me."

Zhou Xucheng reached out and ruffled his head, then said kindly, "Come, let me take you to the dining hall to have a meal with our Master and Mistress."

"You have no idea, the food there is amazing! Master and Mistress spare no expense for their beloved daughter, piling up all sorts of "the treasure of heaven and earth" on the table, which greatly benefits our cultivation."

With a nostalgic expression, Zhou Xucheng continued, "And most importantly, it's incredibly delicious! It makes us senior brothers drool every time."

Seeing Zhou Xucheng's exaggerated expression, Feng Xuanyi couldn't help but burst into laughter. Zhou Xucheng's casual and approachable demeanor always endeared him to others.
