No longer angry with her?

John, identified as the tall and lean security guard, and Mike, a shorter, rounder fellow with a disarmingly innocent smile, both acknowledged the command.

John followed Mr. Bennett out, significantly easing Avery Miller's nerves.

"Madam, it's cold outside. Would you like to go in? I can wait here and let you know when they return," Mike suggested, his speech slightly muffled but his demeanor earnest.

Avery shook her head in response, "I've started to think that maybe it wasn't a person after all. We're quite far from the city center, not many homes around, and no zoos nearby."

"It might have been my imagination. Mr. Bennett and John will probably be back soon. I'd rather wait here, and it feels awkward to always trouble you."

Hearing Avery's words made Mike feel somewhat sheepish. Compared to the usually stern demeanor of the young master and Mr. Bennett, Avery's approachability stood out.
