The Car Accident

"Ah, this is so annoying, I wish I hadn't slept during the day!" she exclaimed, utterly frustrated. 

Why was he all she could think about? 

"Ethan Montgomery, you jerk!" After Avery Miller's outburst, a commotion erupted outside. 

When she opened the window to look, she saw the villa's occupants gathered outside. "What's happening?" Avery inquired.

The first to turn around was Sophie Martin, wearing a schadenfreude grin as if she was enjoying Avery's predicament. 

Avery didn't hesitate to roll her eyes at her, then turned her attention to Eleanor Thompson, whose face was etched with concern. 

"Eleanor Thompson, what's going on?" she asked.

Eleanor pointed towards a brightly lit area not far from the villa, an area not known for residential homes. 

"What could have happened there?"
