Aiden Montgomery carried Avery Miller to the car, opened the door, and sternly told the woman inside to move to the front seat. 

The woman complied without protest. 

Avery caught a clear glimpse of the woman's face, recognizing her from a previous encounter in Paris with Ethan Montgomery. 

"I won't go with you, let me down!" Avery protested, resisting entry into the car and refusing to sit where the other woman had been. 

Aiden, towering over her, his tone dark and impatient, dismissed her protests.

Avery's refusal intensified, her words a mix of panic and anger, especially upon seeing the other woman. 

Her insults towards Aiden spilled out, echoing her previous grievances against Ethan. 

It seemed Aiden bore a striking resemblance to Ethan, possibly his brother, fueling her resolve not to be entangled with the Montgomery men as the other woman was.
