Untangling the Knots

"A month ago, Ms. Green suddenly arrived at the villa with a group of men in black, injuring John and Mike, and even drove my husband and me out of the villa. I knew her arrival boded ill, so I swapped clothes with the janitor, Mrs. Zhang. She left with my husband, and I stealthily remained hidden in the villa."

Avery Miller watched her, her eyes reflecting the flickering of the flames.

"Sophie Martin ran to her, informed her about your school, and even led her to bring you here, to those homeless men..."
