Avery Miller, struggling to contain her tears, made her way out of the hospital only to spot a flashy Ferrari parked outside. 

The burly bodyguard glanced at the car, recognizing it as Ethan Montgomery's, and promptly left the scene.

The car's window rolled down, revealing Ethan's striking and devilishly charming face. "That girl, completely ignoring my advice. Well, very well then."

For reasons unknown, Ethan prided himself on not being petty. However, witnessing Elijah Martinez's tender gazes toward her, filled with deep affection, stirred a murderous jealousy in him. "It seems Miss Miller needs to learn I'm not one to be trifled with."

Ethan chuckled, reaching for his phone.
