Can't Stand Her

Unbeknownst to her, Avery Miller passed by, heads down, trying her best to remain unnoticed.

Despite their brief encounter, Avery couldn't forget how she flaunted herself in front of Ethan Montgomery, an act that Avery found utterly repulsive.

After using the restroom, Avery was surprised to find her still there. 

Initially, she was perfecting her eyebrows, and now, she was meticulously applying lipstick, as if the makeup required detailed attention, seemingly taking her time on purpose.

She probably didn't remember me, considering our brief interaction. Besides, with Ethan Montgomery's plethora of women, she wouldn't bother remembering someone as ordinary as Avery.

Yet, reality begged to differ.

"Ms. Miller, long time no see!" Evelyn Rodriguez, without glancing away from the mirror, paused her lipstick application to comment on her appearance, searching for any imperfection.
