Eating Candy Will Turn You into an Old Lady

That little boy always sat alone in a corner of another classroom, never participating in any of the activities the teachers organized. 

He kept to himself, either engrossed in a book, staring out the window, or sometimes, gazing through the window at the bright and adorable girl in the other classroom whom he found annoyingly ostentatious.

Not long after, he transferred schools following his mother's death, his father having taken him away.

The girl never saw him again. From then on, she stopped distributing candy to the other children. 

Many would approach her, asking, "Avery, didn't your mom buy you any colorful lollipops today?"

Looking dejected, the girl would respond, "My mom said eating too much candy causes worms, and all your teeth will fall out, turning you into an old lady."

One boy, alarmed, asked her, "Like the old witch from 'Snow White'?"

She nodded, "Yes."
