"You should change into something clean. I'm taking you somewhere," Mark said.

Avery Miller looked at him in confusion. Where was he planning to take her?

"Is it a surprise?" she asked with a playful smile.

Mark neither nodded nor shook his head, maintaining an air of secrecy as if he held an earth-shattering secret, waiting to reveal it to her at the right moment.

Without hesitation, Avery went inside and changed her clothes quickly.

"All set! Wasn't I fast?" she beamed, looking like a child proud of her accomplishment.

"Very fast," Mark replied with a faint smile.

He then led her to the car, and they drove off to an unknown destination.
