Shen II

Her eyes moved from the walls to the Tv and the furniture, everything was put in place perfectly, nothing was a contrast to the other, the furniture matched the white of the walls, a glass table sat in the middle of the furniture arrangements.

She walked over to the table and placed her bags and the food on the table. Shen walked in and out of the house till he emptied the car.

He arranged some of the things they bought in the right places except for some of Lily and 935's things. When he was done he stood before, she was in the kitchen, she was pouring out the food they bought into bowls.

"Bǎ wǒ de dōngxi ná dào wǒ de fángjiān, dàn liú xià tā de dōngxi" she told Shen without looking at him.

Shen did as he was told, he carried Lily's things to her room, anything he didn't know to be hers he'd asked her, making sure to avoid 935's things. When he was done he walked back to the kitchen, Lily was setting the food in a tray.

She waited patiently for her, he looked sharp in his gray suit, he had a nice tie on, and shiny shoes. He's had a classy and modern look going well for him, balancing both professionalism and city style.

With a calm demeanor on his face. His eyes, attentive and purposeful, watched Lily. A well-groomed beard framed his face, adding a touch of approachability to his professional image.

When Lily was done she handed the tray over to Shen and went to the living room, she picked up her bag and all of 935's things, some she handed it over to Shen. Shen followed behind her as she made her way to 935's room.

She knocked but she didn't hear anything so she opened the door only to meet an empty room. The room was neatly arranged, a large flat screen tv by the wall with a black cabinet underneath, a laptop on a table with a chair and some books, there was even a huge bookshelf beside the table with some books on it. By a corner of the room she could see a blue bean bag, beside it a small coffee table in front of it.

A black rug dressed the floor, matching the colour of his drapes and blanket on his bed, she could see the first picture they took together on his bedside table and she smiled, she picked a plate of food from the tray Shen held and placed it on the trunk in front of his bed.

She then picked up the other things Shen was holding that belong to 935 and placed it on 935's bed. She heard the shower running and walked over to the bathroom door. "I've placed your food and things in your room, sleep early okay, some tutors will come in the morning, if you are not satisfied with any of them just tell Shen and they won't be brought back" she said in a slightly high tone so he could hear her from the bathroom.

Lily walked out of the room to meet Shen still waiting by the door. They walked to her room "Míngtiān liù diǎn zhǔnshí dào zhèlǐ. Wǎn'ān" Lily said before she took the tray from his hand.

"Wǎn'ān" Shen replied before Lily closed the door.

Shen was told to return to the house tomorrow morning by six, he made sure everything in the house was okay before he left.

935 stepped out of the room to see the food by the chest. Water still dripped from his hair as he made his way to the bed. He put the shopping bags on the chest and picked up the food, he looked around him as he ate, taking in his new environment.

He walked over to his table, he picked up his drawing book and flipped the pages and stopped at a page, he tore out the drawing and folded it.

He opened his laptop sat down. Morning came and 935 walked out of his room, he walked down the stairs to the kitchen, thinking that like always he'd see Lily there, to his dissatisfaction it was Shen's face that greeted him.

Shen gave him a slight bow "Zǎoshang hǎo, Kǎi" Shen greeted. Kai ignored him and walked up to the kitchen table, beside a bowl of food was an Tablet. Kai picked it up and turned it on. There was a video on the eyepad, a video of Lily.

"Hi warrior" she greeted

"I hope you aren't angry with me, I made you a milkshake as an apology for leaving without saying goodbye, it's in the fridge. Shen knows your schedule, i'm sure he'd be delighted to tell you"

935 glanced over at Shen before he faced the tablet.

"There's a map of the house with all the room's listed out, there's also a surprise for you in one of the rooms as well" Lily said with a smile. "I'll miss you, and i'll be back as soon as i'm done" she added and the screen went blank.

935 dropped the tablet on the table and opened up the food, he ate quietly, ignoring Shen's presence. When he was done Shen reached out to pick up the plate but 935 held his hand and carried the plates to the sink himself. Shen watched him wash it and walk out of the kitchen to the living room.

Shen picked up the tablet and followed after him, 935 sat on the living room sofa, before he could do anything, Shen walked up to him with the tablet and gave it him. 935 read the contents on the screen, it was a schedule, apparently his tutors were in the waiting room, waiting to see him.

935 sighed and handed the tablet back to Shen. Shen walked out and came back with an elderly man, this was the first tutor. After hours of filtering through tutors, 935 picked the ones to stay and the one's to go.

After that, 935 freshened up and Shen took him around the house, there was a laundry room, an arcade, he was stunned to see all the games he played and enjoyed at the mall in his house. There was a pool behind the house and large field for football.

There was even a library, 935 picked out some language books and gave Shen to take it to his room. The finally reached the last room, this was the room Lily said had a surprise for him, to him the arcade and game room was already a surprise.

935 opened the door to see....
