Chapter 35: The Malevolent Laughter

The dark mage, known as Malachar, reveled in the shadows, his twisted form obscured by the ethereal glow emanating from the enchanted mirror before him. With a wicked grin, he observed the group and S conversing in hushed tones, their plans veiled from his watchful eyes.

As S, spoke of their intentions, Malachar's laughter echoed through the eerie chamber. "Ah, little prince, you've enlisted the help of outsiders. How quaint. But mark my words, your efforts will be in vain. Aelius will fall, and there's nothing you can do to stop it."

Malachar continued to taunt them through the mirror, reveling in the apparent futility of their quest. "You think mere mortals can thwart my ambitions?" he sneered, his voice resonating with malevolence. "Your feeble attempts to save Aelius are in vain."

Amidst the dark mage's laughter, a door creaked open on its own, revealing a passage to an unseen realm. Undeterred, Malachar strode confidently down a long, shadow-laden corridor. The air seemed to thicken with his malevolence as he approached another door, which swung open at his mere presence.

Within the dimly lit chamber, a figure lay peacefully on a bed. Malachar's eyes glinted with cruel satisfaction as he gazed upon the slumbering woman, her vulnerability exposed. The dark mage chuckled sinisterly, relishing the impending chaos he intended to unleash upon Aelius.

A twisted ballet orchestrated by the dark mage's malevolent design. Little did Malachar know that the group, spurred by determination and guided by an unforeseen ally, prepared to confront him and disrupt his insidious plans.
