|The Town Lunatic

Rumors, so many rumors began to stir when it was learned that the town lunatic was pregnant with the babies of an unknown man, this became news to everyone.

Why?

Well, it was quite obvious because Zeng Yaozu is from the Dai family, a wealthy family that was held in high regard. Hence, the day Zeng Yaozu became the town lunatic, he was seen as a threat to the family for the way he acts and the things he does, he talks like a manic and acts like a woman wearing women's clothes with white rouge covering his face with poorly put on red lipstick and eyeshadow, it makes him look like a lunatic indeed, and on top of that he used demonic cultivation, it seems like he was born just to destroy the reputation of this family

"Did you hear?" The murmurs of the people seem to never stop since the news "Of course, I heard!" Another whisper out as gossiping is looked down upon but how could that not talk about it after all it was the lunatic they were talking about.

"Honestly I still can't believe a child like that was born into the almighty Dai family" The Dai sect, the family with strong relations with the imperial family "And that hair and eyes do you think his Mûqīn cheated on the Èr yé Dai Huan?"

"I knew that Ge'er would be trouble" another laughed

"I feel bad for the father of that baby," a young woman said to the other "Oh no! You mean thee baby!" the baby, oh that poor child they all thought. "Of course, to be born from that lunatic would be a curse" a woman laughed at her response

"I would rather die than have a lunatic possessed by a demon be my mother-father" They all laughed at the pregnant lunatic

While the village gossiped about the pregnant Lunatic they didn't know he was about to give birth to his baby, it was dangerous for women to give birth but ge'ers it was a life or death situation, and the chances of the baby surviving was also quiet low, so ge'ers are seen as tools for pleasure because they can barely live long enough to have children, they're also weak than the average female, many ge'ers don't get married because of how weak they are, they just stand around to look pretty and get sick very easily making most stay indoors.

Zeng Yaozu was only in his cream inner robes adorning a vermillion mark on his forehead while the servants rushed to have everything prepared for the arrival of the upcoming baby, the only person who seemed to be calm was Zeng Yaozu himself he wasn't that worried he was drugged with a few pills so that his mind would calm down and not over exert himself with excess movement, Zeng Yaozu couldn't remember half of the process, he only remembered the screaming that made his voice dry and hoarse and the unbearable pain but almost immediately forgot some of it by who knows what.

"Congratulations young master Zeng Yaozu you have given birth to a healthy ge'er" Even though he was barely conscious when the doctor handed him his baby he knew how many babies came out of him, three and currently he is seeing two maids trying to sneak out with the other two, he grabbed the knife underneath his pillow before flinging it in between the two maids.

They stopped and began to tremble in fear, they knew how aggressive their demonic young master could get when he doesn't get what he want and currently, they both had something he wanted

"Where the hell do you think you're going you useless servants?" his cold gray eyes glared at them like they were the same men that tried to kill him when he was a child "y-young master Zeng, I'm sorry but their still-born they didn't make it, I'm s-sorry" an elder maid tried to make an excuse on to why she is taking away his child, he may be a lunatic but he wasn't stupid, he knew damn well they were lying to him. Not because he heard them cry, no because they weren't still born in his past life.

"You must think I'm stupid, don't you" The other maid flinched "No, No of course not second young master-" she was stopped by another knife but this time it cut the side of her cheek "I know I'm crazy but not stupid, so you better give me my babies before chop your head off like I do with those birds" The maids could feel the demonic aura surround him when he finish those words, they quickly placed the two other babies in his arm before scurrying off with the fear if they didn't leave soon he would have their head.

Zeng Yaozu looked at the babies in his arms "Genders?" he said to the doctor who was about to leave the room "Both are boys, second young master Zeng" The man trembled as he responded, he felt as if the air was slowly suffocating him if he didn't respond.

Zeng Yaozu's eyes were fixated on the three bundles of blankets in his arms, three babies, his youngest one with silver hair and gray eyes just like him another with black hair was a darker gradient and black eyes and the other had black hair and dark gray eyes each looked just like his hubby in some way.

"Second Master Dai Huan! We have news on the second young master Zeng Yaozu!" An elderly male servant ran up to the second son of the house and got to his knees.

"Well, what is it? Hurry up and speak! Is my son ok!?" The tall man with short brown hair and dim gold eyes dressed in dark clothes hurriedly asked hoping that his precious son was still alive as much as he hated how his son acted, he was still his son and would always be there for him no matter the circumstances

"Oh course Second Master! Young master Zeng Yaozu has given birth and is in the process of making a fast recovery Second Master Dai Huan" Dai Huan and his Ge'er wife Zeng Yue breathed a sigh of relief their son was ok and that was all that mattered to them, but… the baby "and, the baby… did it make it?" His tone of voice was lower, he didn't care that much for the baby of that mysterious man, and he hated whoever got his precious child pregnant, Zeng Yue was hoping that the baby did make it, as he had always wanted a grandbaby to spoil.

"That's the big news Second Master Huan, Second young master Yaozu has given birth to triplets, three healthy babies, two boys, and a Ge'er" The rest of the family froze. Three? Three babies "That crazy B*stard gave birth to triples!?" A loud cry was heard from behind the couple.

"Zûmû, Zûmû! Did you hear that?! That crazy bastard gave birth to triples and I can't even have one! It's not fair Zûmû! do something!!" A young woman with long wavy dark brown hair and gold eyes, dressed in lavish magenta clothes yelled and cried clinging on to her Zûmû as she had been trying for four years to have babies but all were unsuccessful or were miscarriages, on top of that her husband divorced her for not being able to give him a son, It was like she was fated to never have children.

"Calm down my dear Dai Zhilan, that Lunatic isn't capable of taking care of himself let alone three babies, we'll take them and give them to you, you deserve to have babies of your own" The old woman hugged the young woman, comforting her when in reality she was faking her tears to take the babies away from the lunatic, she believes that possessed cousin of hers doesn't deserve to have children let alone three "a-Huan! go talk to that bastard child of yours and tell him to give his babies to Dai Zhilan, he isn't capable of keeping them!" The man got upset by his own mother's words "What is wrong with you a-niang!?! You can't just tell me to give my grandchildren to my niece!" Dai Huan yelled at his mother, horrified that his mother would suggest such things.

He may dislike the babies for having an unknown father but they were still his sons' children and would help him take care of them, he stormed off grabbing his wife and dragging him away to see their son who was most likely too weak to keep himself away after giving birth to three children, that what they thought at least.

Zeng Yaozu didn't rest. He refused because every time he did try to rest, maids would come into his room to take his babies, it was to give them a proper wash but with the events that happened after they were born, he thought otherwise.

Every time a servant got too close to him he would wipe out the blade underneath his pillow to try to cut at their neck or hands, at this point half of his servants were heavily injured with deep cut wounds on their necks and hands.

Two knocks came at the door and a bleeding servant rushed to answer it "M-master Dai Huan!" at the sight of the master she got on her knees and began to beg for help "Please help, young master Zeng Yaozu is out of control" she begged while gripping onto the hems of his clothes "out of my way" he voice was stern and cold, he didn't want to see a servant, he wanted to see his son and upon laying eyes on him he was shocked to see him hold all three of his babies with one hand and a knife in the other pointing it was the nearby servants that were all bundled up and hiding in the corner with deep cut wounds all around their upper body "a-Zu? What are you doing you're supposed to be resting" Zeng Yue rushed to his son's side pushing the knife down in the process "a-Niang, I can't rest their trying to take my babies away"

"Yes, they have to clean them while you rest" "No, no liars, dirty liars, their liars" Zeng Yue put his hand on a-Zu's "why? Why are they liars a-Zu, you can tell you a-Niang" he only stared at his babies before responding to his mother "they tried to act like only one came out of me they tried taking the other two they said they were still-born a bunch of dirty liars trying to take my sons" he laughed at his response as everyone in the room began to shiver at his manic laugh "Its ok a-Zu, me and your a-die will watch them make sure they don't do anything, I promise ok a-Zu"

Their talk was shortly interrupted by the yelling of a banshee, Fu Baozhi "How dare you disrespect your a-niang like that a-Huan, I gave birth to you, I raised you and I even let you marry that poor Ge'er, I let it slid when your first child had gray eyes that neither he nor you have but then he had a silver-haired ! lunatic! And I refuse to let it slide again and now you can't even give Dai Zhilan his babies after I still allowed that lunatic to live here!!" So Loud, Zeng Yaozu hated loud noises, on the downside Fu Baozhi was always loud and kept trying to make Dai Huan feel guilty for marrying Zeng Yue, he was from a family of poor farmers, the only reason they met was because Dai Huan was on a night hunt at the outskirts of town because there were reports of large ghosts out there he met Zeng Yue by chance who was being chased down by a ghost, he lived near the area and forgot to but protection talisman and thought he had time to still put them up.

"AH!" Screams were heard throughout the treelines, A young cultivator by the name of Dai Huan rushed to the scene to see a young farmer being chased down by a resentful ghost, upon realizing if he didn't act fast this young man may die.

He quickly drew his blade and killed the ghost on the spot, he wasn't that strong so it was a piece of cake for him, Dai Huan noticed the misty figure in the distance on the ground crying in fear, he went to go comfort and help the farmer only to see the most beautiful ge'er he ha ever met after the fog cleared his view, his appearance was beautiful and clear as day despite it being a dark and foggy night, he adorn long smooth silver hair that reached his lower caff with bright gray eyes that looked almost heavenly, most definitely an otherworldly beauty

"A-are you ok?" Dai Huan reached down to help the crying ge'er onto his feet, who just bowed and thanked him. "What were you doing out late at night" "a-Yue forgot to put the protection talisman on the gate so a-Yue thought he had time" He talked in the third person which he found cute "a-Yue is that your name" he nodded "yes Zeng Yue is a-Yue's name, please come inside a-Yue will give you something to eat as thank you" he smiled again.

"Oh thank you" he smiled while bowing at him to which he giggled. He acted rather crazy when he was younger, he assumed the isolation was getting to him as he lived alone out in the forest with nobody near him for miles. Time went by since the encounter and Dai Huan kept finding himself back in those same woods visiting him, a-Yue slowly began to become better from his mental illness and slowly learned more things from Dai Huan, after a few months he came back to his house and asked to court him, a-chang blushed and nodded quickly "but my appearance will catch to much attention, that why I live out here" Dai Huan took his hand putting it in his own "then I'll find a way to change your hair and eye color so that you'll feel comfortable, I don't care how you look I'll still love you as you are"

That was also the reason everyone thought Zeng Yue cheated on Dai Huan because his son inherited two of his real traits, but now Zeng Yue had black hair and blue eyes, they tried changing his appearance before Dai Huan's family came in but it was to late and they saw the bright silver hair he adorn when he was born.

"The fact you are still with that hussy is upsetting me a-Huan just get rid of him and those bastard children they aren't yours and he is just lying about it being her parent's traits, hell even those lunatics babies have his trait, it going to taint the traits we have been caring for hundreds of years of rich brown hair and gold eyes" Her scream was loud and annoying "It would have been better if that lunatic died in childbirth with those whore children of his-" a loud gag was heard and then followed Fu Baozhi struggling to breath, it was annoying Zeng Yaozu wished he could make her stop, his hand tightens around her neck, oh wait he could.

"Who let you talk about my babies like that" His eyes grew sinister and his grip grew stronger as his family desperately tried prying him off of her but demonic cultivation knocked them back with a burst, like he was untouchable "Zeng Yaozu stop your hurting her" one of his cousins yelled out 'that's kinda the point' Zeng Yaozu thought.

"Zûmû just because you're my a-die's a-niang doesn't mean I won't hurt you bad-mouthing my babies, maybe I should take your head with the maids you sent in to take my sons" Her eyes began to roll into the back of her head and her breathing became more ragged as she struggled to stay conscious "Zu-Biâo dî stop!! I don't want your babies anymore just please stop hurting Zûmû!!" Zhilan cried, her having his children backfired on her now that he was choking her Zûmû to death.

Suddenly loud cries were heard and Zeng Yaozu paused and looked it was his baby crying from his bed, the baby's face slowly turned red from crying and its cries slowly woke up his siblings now all three were crying from the loud yells and talking and them not being able to feel the warm embrace of their mother, Zeng Yaozu immediately dropped the old woman on the floor who was now gasping for air backing away in fear, Zeng could care less on how she was and quickly scooped up his babies in his warm embrace "It's ok my baby, māmā is here, māmā is here and will keep you safe from the bad lady" The three babies began to calm down after being scooped up by their mother, and where cooed to sleep once again. Zeng Yaozu just smiled rocking himself from side to side to rock his babies into a deeper sleep

The sudden change in mood was unsettling to the rest of the family who had witnessed his cold and deathly demeanor turn into a soft and welcoming aura, the way he was seconds away from killing his own Zûmû to now cradling his newborn in his arms comforting them, it was uncanny everyone slowly left the room dragging the old lady with them minus Zeng Yaozu's parents they were worried for their sons well being and for the babies.

After a few days, more rumors began to spread about the birth of the baby it was never released that he had triplets but the rumors were mainly about who the father could be they assumed it was probably an old drunker or a poor man who got him pregnant but when the father of the lunatic said it was a wealthy man good looking man with dark hair and dark eyes that got his son pregnant everyone was curious at who this man could be, I mean who in the right mind would want to sleep with the lunatic of Zhengho. If only they knew.

They didn't know that the man who got him pregnant was the Emperor of Zhengho, Zhong Bingwen a very scary man that is known to act a bit like a tyrant, he killed those who disrespected him on the spot, and those who acted out where publicly executed he was very cold-hearted to the people around him and cared very little about his concubines and empress so him getting the lunatic of the Dai sect pregnant was not a possibility to them, but it was the truth.

Somehow the lunatic softened the emperor to be able to bare his children.

When the emperor heard the news that the Lunatic had given birth he couldn't help but smile, no not a sinister smile like you would think but the smile of a proud husband upon hearing that his wife had given birth to a healthy boy, an heir to his throne

Well the only reason he didn't have an heir before is that his concubines can never seem to be able to get pregnant but when they do the baby either dies from a miscarriage, is stillborn or is dead after a few days of being born.

The emperor knew better than to think it was all bad luck, No it was all the doing of his wife and her servants, the Empress of Zhengho, Cui Hualing.
