Ignis, reacting swiftly to the threat, unleashed a controlled breath, a mini version of his fiery breath, decimating the malformed monsters with precision.
However, the confrontation took a dark turn as the researcher, damaged but not dead.
Nova questioned the researcher.
Nova: What are you doing with these beasts? Why cause so much chaos?
The researcher, with a sinister smirk, responded,
researcher: I am a being not bound by the light or dark realms. My actions are guided by orders beyond your comprehension.
In a desperate move, the researcher coated a dagger with an unknown energy and swiftly struck Nova in the heart. Nova crumpled to the ground, unconscious and gravely wounded.
Ignis, filled with rage and grief, turned on the researcher,
ending his existence. But the damage had been done.
As the flames subsided, Ignis carefully scooped Nova into his claws.
With a sorrowful gaze, Ignis said, "Hang on, Nova. I won't let you fade away." With great speed, Ignis carried Nova to his home, the dragon's massive wings beating against the night sky.
With Nova unconscious and in critical condition, Ignis knew that immediate action was necessary.
ignis knows only one person, it takes flight and entered the house where Em resided.
Em freaked out when she saw the dead dragon from conference.
Em, her initial shock giving way to curiosity and concern, looked up at Ignis. The dragon spoke in a calm yet urgent voice,
Ignis: My name is Ignis, and I am a familiar of Master Nova. He is in a critical situation. I need you to follow me. Please, climb onto my back. I will take you to him.
Em, still processing the surreal encounter, hesitated for a moment. The urgency in Ignis' eyes and the gravity of the situation pushed her to act.
she carefully climbed onto Ignis' back, holding onto his scaled form as the dragon prepared to take flight.
Em arrived at Nova's home with Ignis. Witnessing Nova's critical state, she immediately took action. Inspecting the severity of the wound, she saw the dagger embedded in his heart, with a dark violet flame emanating from the injury. The sight was both surreal and ominous.
With steady hands, Em carefully pulled the dagger from Nova's heart, causing the dark flame to intensify momentarily.
Undeterred, she focused her attention on healing Nova. Her efforts, however, yielded no immediate response from the unconscious Nova.
Feeling a sense of desperation, Em persisted in her attempts to revive Nova. As she began to doubt the success of her healing efforts, a moment of despair washed over her. She approached Nova, gently attempting to close his eyes, believing he might have passed away.
In an unexpected turn, Nova's hand grasped hers, surprising Em. Suddenly, the dark violet flame at the wound began to recede. Nova's body underwent a miraculous transformation as he absorbed the violent energy into himself. The wound closed, leaving no trace of the grievous injury.
As Nova slowly regained consciousness, his first words were directed at Em. "Em, what are you doing here?"
Em, still processing the miraculous turn of events, replied.
Em: The dragon brought me here. You were in critical condition; you should be dead. Your heart was pierced with a dagger. How are you even alive?
Nova, bewildered by his own survival, could only respond with uncertainty,
Nova: I don't know how I'm alive. I am not sure of anything,
As Nova regained his strength, Em's confusion deepened.
Em: One more thing, Nova, what is this dragon doing here? Shouldn't it be more like dead?
Nova, deciding it was time to reveal some of the truth, explained the circumstances surrounding Ignis, though he omitted the details of how he killed the guard.
Em still feeling puzzled,
Em: How did you resurrect a freaking dragon?
Nova, just as puzzled, replied,
Nova: I don't know. I just placed my hands on the remains, and it came back to life."
Nova urged Em to keep everything a secret.
Em: Lord Gaberiel launched an investigation to catch the personal responsible for what happened yesterday.
"If your dragon killed them," she questioned,
and Lord Gabriel has assembled a squad to find them, what should we tell them when they found the remains?
Nova, considering the options, advised,
Nova: They will find the remains on the shore of the sea. Tell them they must have lost control and killed themselves. It might work.
Em. Go home, rest. Tomorrow is a big day. And please, don't tell anyone, even I don't understand.
Acknowledging Nova's request, Em reluctantly agreed. Nova, with a gesture of gratitude, had Ignis carry Em to her house.
The new day dawned,
Lord Gabriel, leading his squad, ventured into the Sutur Forest, determined to follow the trail left by the remnants of the previous day's events.
The knights carefully navigated the terrain until they stumbled upon the remains of the mysterious occurrences.
Lord Gabriel, recognizing the severity of the situation, ordered his squad to thoroughly search the area for any signs of the individuals involved.
As they investigated the aftermath, the traces of experiments in the fortress became apparent. and they went back to fortress to search for other evidence.
A pivotal moment unfolded when, in front of the fortress, a gate materialized. A person emerged from the portal, radiating the same energy as the researcher from the previous day.
Swiftly, Lord Gabriel and his knights moved into action. As the individual set foot on the ground, Lord Gabriel intervened, stopping him in his tracks and immobilizing him.
