ElderMyst.

Nova said, "Then I need to meet her. What is her name?"

Alaric responded with a sense of caution, "The First Lord gave her a name. Her name is 'Cynthia-Silvernight.' She is dangerous even to our kind; she holds highest authority on us in both realms."

Expressing gratitude, Nova said, "Thank you for your concern. I will be fine."

As Nova prepared to embark on his journey, he inquired about the Eldermyst family's whereabouts.

Nova asked, "Where can I find the Eldermyst family?"

Alaric pointed to a towering building that seemed to touch the sky, stating, "Look at that building. That's the Eldermyst family. They are the oldest and one of the powerful family after the first-generation gods. They have near-infinite resources. Be careful when you are dealing with them."

In the grandeur of the Eldermyst family's estate on Earth-666, Nova advanced with purpose, guided by the looming building that seemed to pierce the heavens. The surroundings exuded an air of significance, with people forming orderly lines for their appointments, and vigilant soldiers patrolling, ensuring order.

Approaching a soldier, Nova inquired, "Where can I meet Ms. Evangelene?"

The soldier, adorned in regal armor, questioned, "Do you have an appointment with Miss, sir?"

Nova, with quiet confidence, responded, "No, sir, but she knows me. Can you tell her 'Nova' is calling?"

The soldier, incredulous, retorted, "Have you lost your mind? Do you want me to call Ms. Evangelene for you?"

Nova, undeterred, replied, "Please, just convey my message. If anything goes wrong, I will take full responsibility."

The soldier respectfully sought entrance, saying, "Ma'am, may I come in?"

Evangelene, an influential figure within the Eldermyst family, granted permission, stating, "Yes, come in."

As the soldier entered the room, Evangelene, seated with an air of authority, inquired, "What's so important that you need to disturb me?"

The soldier, maintaining a stance of professionalism, conveyed the message, "Ma'am, a person claiming to be 'Nova' has arrived at the building and is requesting a meeting with you."

Ms. Evangelene exclaimed, "Nova, he is alive?"

Filled with excitement and disbelief, Evangelene descended to the bottom floor to meet Nova. Upon laying eyes on him, she couldn't contain her joy, exclaiming, "You are alive! I thought you died under Michael's purge."

Nova calmly responded, "Both Emily and I escaped before the purge reached us."

Curiosity shining in her eyes, Evangelene asked, "How did you escape from Michael's purge?"

Nova explained, "Ms. Emily has a device that allows us to teleport directly to one of her kin."

A wave of relief washed over Evangelene as she realized both Nova and Emily were safe. She inquired further, "Where is Emily anyway?"

Nova shared, "Emily is with her father in Earth-2. I heard all Earths are connected through dimensional wavelengths, so I requested to be teleported here."

he extended an invitation to Nova for a private conversation, dismissing the soldier who had conveyed Nova's presence.

Once settled in her office, Evangelene asked, "So, what did you come here for?"

Nova, with a sense of purpose, replied, "Miss, you said you could help me with entering COC?"

Evangelene, maintaining a composed demeanor, responded, "The entry to COC is blocked for outsiders due to recent events. You need to wait for some time before the situation becomes clear."

Grateful for the information, Nova expressed his thanks, stating, "Thank you, I will take my leave."

Evangelene, however, extended an offer of support, asking, "If you want a job and a place to live, I can arrange it."

Nova, appreciative yet independent, replied, "Don't worry about it, miss. I will find a place and visit you later."

As Nova left the imposing Eldermyst building, an unseen gaze lingered in the shadows, watching him intently. The mysterious figures concealed within the darkness observed his every move, their motives veiled in secrecy.

Returning to the familiar haven of the book store, Nova approached Alaric with a newfound purpose. He expressed his desire for a job, seeking to contribute to the daily operations of the store. Alaric, understanding Nova's need, nodded in agreement.

"Well, I need someone to arrange the books and watch over the shop when I am not available," Alaric explained.

Grateful for the opportunity, Nova replied, "Thank you for the offer. I appreciate it. I also need a place to stay."

Alaric, with generosity, offered, "I have a spare room upstairs you can use."

Nova, nodding in acceptance, expressed his gratitude and promptly started arranging the books in the bookstore.

-The Next Day-

Nova entered the Bookstore, Alaric asked nova " How did you sleep, is the room enough for you?"

nova replied with energetic tone "yeah, the bed is so comfortable and I hsve enough space".

nova begin his duties, he arranged the books in the store in a periodical manner. as he stare at the books blankly.

Nova inquired, "I have a question."

Alaric, engrossed in his tasks, replied, "What is it?"

Nova, with a thoughtful expression, asked, "Who is the ruler of COC?"

Alaric, ever knowledgeable, explained, "Miss Cynthia is the ruler of COC."

Nova probed further, "If Miss Cynthia is the ruler of COC, she could know about the attacks caused by her own kin, right?"

Alaric, pondering, responded, "Yeah, so?"

Nova, expressing his confusion, questioned, "Then why could she block the entrance to COC?"

Alaric, with a shrug, speculated, "Maybe to keep up appearances. I don't know what she wants."

Nova, persistent, inquired, "If she is the first gen, then which gen are you?"

Alaric clarified, "I am also first gen, but I am a soldier under the third lord. There are seven first-gen chaos beings we call ourselves 'The Thranites.' Each has their own method of fulfilling their mission."

Nova, still seeking answers, remarked, "You still don't tell me what the mission is."

Alaric, with a hint of mystery, stated, "I don't know which lord you serve. Every lord gives a separate mission."

After this insightful conversation with Alaric, Nova resumed his duties in the bookstore.

In the towering Eldermyst family building on Earth-666, a person positioned on the 72nd floor, observed Nova with a penetrating gaze. he became aware of became aware of Nova's interactions with Ms. Evangelene in the guild's lobby.

this person, following protocol, swiftly descended the floors, moving through the grandeur of the Eldermyst family's guild. Upon reaching a secluded room, devoid of light, a mysterious figure awaited. The enigmatic person, hidden in the shadows.

the person respectfully informed this mysterious person, "Ms. Eva personally met with a person in the building lobby."

The mysterious figure, with an air of intrigue, issued a direct order to person, saying, "Keep an eye on him and report to me if you see anything suspicious."

Unbeknownst to Nova, he found himself unwittingly entangled in the intricate web of the Eldermyst family's succession battle. Nova reaching out to Ms. Evangelene through a projection device.

Nova inquired, "When can I visit you? Ms. Evangelene"

Eva, her voice echoing through the device, responded, "Come by my mansion near the lake. You can spot it there."

As Nova prepared to meet Eva at her mansion near the lake, a subtle awareness crept over him. Unbeknownst to him, a suspicious figure trailed in the distance.

However, Ignis, ever vigilant and attuned to the surroundings, sensed the presence of the follower. In a voice that resonated within Nova's consciousness, Ignis alerted him, "Someone is following us."

Nova, now aware of the potential threat, adjusted his course, weaving through the winding paths leading to Eva's mansion.

As Nova sensed the persistent pursuer on his tail, he decided to take a detour along the labyrinthine lanes in an attempt to shake off the shadowy figure. Despite his efforts, the pursuer remained steadfast in trailing Nova's every move.

Ignis, attuned to Nova's concerns, assured him, "I can take care of him."

However, Nova, wise to the potential consequences, cautioned Ignis, "We cannot keep killing anyone who is suspicious. If we get caught, we will be executed."

Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Nova instructed Ignis, "Clock yourself and knock him out before he catches us."

As Nova continued along the path, Ignis, the ever-loyal companion, became invisible, blending seamlessly with the surroundings. Swiftly, Ignis flew from Nova's pocket, a silent guardian in the ethereal form, and skillfully approached the pursuer from behind.

With a precise strike, Ignis knocked the pursuer in the back, rendering them temporarily incapacitated.

Effortlessly, Ignis returned to Nova's side, resuming its invisible sentinel role.

Arriving at Eva's mansion, Nova found himself facing the imposing gates guarded by two vigilant sentinels. With confidence in his demeanor, he introduced himself.

"I am Nova," he stated, "and I am here for the appointment with Ms. Eva."

The guards, maintaining their watchful gaze, proceeded to check his identity. After a thorough examination, they confirmed his authenticity, and the gates slowly creaked open, granting Nova passage into the elegant surroundings of Eva's mansion.

As the gates closed behind him, Nova stepped into the estate,

In the luxurious ambiance of Eva's mansion, Nova, with a tinge of concern, explained to Eva that he had been tailed on his way there. Eva, seasoned in the intricacies of the Eldermyst family and their battles, comprehended the gravity of the situation and reassured Nova that such incidents would not happen again under her watch.

With a calming tone, Eva said, "Don't worry, Nova. You're under my protection here."

Curiosity etched on his face, Nova then asked, "I arrived on this planet only a week ago, and I haven't interacted with many. Why would someone be following me?"

As Nova absorbed Eva's explanation, a furrow appeared on his brow. "So, just because I met you, they are tailing me now?" he questioned.

Eva, with a hint of regret, responded, "Yes, unfortunately. The Eldermyst family is embroiled in a succession battle, and sudden support of the seer in the family meeting has made me an adversary to my own brothers and sisters."

She continued, "The supposed inheritance of the family head's position should take place after one and a half years, but I've inadvertently disrupted their plans by receiving the seer's endorsement. Now, the dynamics within the family are tense, and your association with me has drawn attention and suspicion."

"Now, I need allies. The more, the merrier," she declared with a determined look.

Curious about Eva's change in stance, Nova questioned, "I thought you didn't want to come in the middle of the succession?"

Eva, with a somber expression, responded, "Yes, that was my initial intention. However, troubling news surfaced about my brother's illegal dealings. It's become clear that he is no longer fit for the throne. As the firstborn to the mistress, he has a strong claim, but with the seer's backing, I can ascend to the throne and lead the family in a different direction."

"In that case," he said, "allies are indeed crucial. The more allies you have, the stronger your position will be."

"They must have placed an agent to watch your movements. That's my problem," she said to nova.
