Vispeda, without hesitation, said, "The Drak'thar Clan is the strongest, Your Majesty. They inhabit areas near volcanoes, and their bodies are constantly tempered."
Nova considered this information and asked, "How far is that region from here?"
Vispeda replied, "It's very close to the central region. It takes up to 4 hours if we take the speed hare, Your Majesty."
Nodding, Nova instructed, "Inform the Drak'thar Clan head about my arrival and prepare the speed hare."
Vispeda acknowledged, "I will inform the chancellor, Your Majesty."
Before Vispeda could leave, Nova stopped him, saying, "Don't disturb her; she is working hard. I am the father, but she treats me like I am the child. I need to prove to her that I can take care of this myself."
Vispeda nodded and assured, "I will prepare the speed hare, Your Majesty."
As the speed hare was prepared, Nova climbed into the carriage and started his journey towards the Drak'thar Clan. Unlike other clans, the Drak'thar Clan was known for its barbaric nature, respecting only the strong.
Nova's carriage traversed the volcanic region, the crown he wore nullifying the extreme heat temperature. The landscape was a spectacle of molten lava and fiery mountains, an environment that would be unbearable for most but was a familiar terrain for the Drak'thar Clan.
The 'Thrru-kaar,' the left sword of the tribal chief, received the high ruler near the volcanic region. Nova questioned, "Where is the tribal chief? Why did you come here to receive me?"
Thrru-kaar replied, "Your Majesty, the chief went to hunt prey near the volcano; he cannot come here because of that."
Nova nodded in understanding. Vispeda, however, felt a blatant disrespect, thinking that if Ms. Chancellor had come with Majesty, the chief should have come running. But Nova expected this treatment, as he never showcased his true power to his subjects. They all witnessed Freya's strength, while Nova appeared weaker to her in raw power and body strength. Nova let it slide, knowing these beings' respected strength above all, and all he needed was for them to submit to him.
Nova said, "Lead me to where the chief is hunting; I will participate in this event."
Thrru-kaar immediately replied, "Your Majesty, the beasts in the volcanic region are ferocious. With your strength, you cannot hunt them."
Vispeda couldn't bear the disrespect and exclaimed, "How dare you belittle his Majesty?"
Nova raised his hand to stop Vispeda and addressed Thrru-kaar, "I want to see the strength you speak of. I will see with my own eyes how powerful the chief is."
Thrru-kaar thought, "Maybe I should let this ignorant ruler see the might of the chief. Ms. Chancellor always protects the ruler. I bet he never fought before; this will open his eyes and stop bothering us."
Thrru-kaar led the way toward the volcanic beast regions where ferocious creatures resided. The landscape was treacherous, with pockets of lava, scalding heat, and ominous shadows cast by the towering mountains. The air was thick with the smell of sulfur, adding to the intimidating atmosphere of the volcanic hunting grounds.
The screams of the chief and the prey echoed all over the beast region. The cries of the ferocious beasts resonated through the entire area, while the hunting party cheered for the chief. Nova and Thrru-kaar entered the hunting spot where the chief was effortlessly hunting the transcendental beasts.
Nova asked Vispeda, "Which realm is this chief?"
Vispeda replied, "The chief, Zal'gor the Flamebearer, is an Intermediate god. He is only weaker than Ms. Chancellor. He has ruled over this tribe for nearly 200 years and settled here after his defeat at the hands of Ms. Chancellor, swearing loyalty to you, Majesty."
Nova said, "I see."
Approaching Zal'gor the Flamebearer, Nova remarked, "That was a magnificent display of your prowess, Zal'gor the Flamebearer. I am blessed to have a strong warrior like you under my rule."
(Zal'gor the Flamebearer is a humanoid being with great muscular strength and high resistance to alignments. The tribe believes that the longer their hair, the more powerful they are, and he dressed only in the fur of beasts.)
Zal'gor the Flamebearer said, "Your Majesty, what are you doing here? Thrru-kaar, did you lose your mind, leading Majesty into such a dangerous place?"
Nova interrupted, "Don't worry. I insisted him to lead me here. They say you are powerful."
Zal'gor the Flamebearer expressed concern, "Your Majesty, it's not safe here. If anything happens to you, Ms. Chancellor will punish me."
Nova assured him, "I was here without her knowledge. You can continue hunting; I will observe from here."
Zal'gor the Flamebearer thought, "This arrogant ruler, doesn't he know that without Chancellor, he might die on his own planet? Well, let this be a lesson to him. After seeing my prowess, he won't disturb me anymore."
In the hunting ground, Nova asked Vispeda, "How do you categorize the beasts here?"
Vispeda explained, "The beasts are categorized in the same realms. But after the T. Upper Realm, there are Beast King, Beast Emperor, and finally, Beast God. Mostly, the beasts here are only in the Intermediate realm. The chief can take care of them without any assistance."
Nova said, "I see. Then we can observe how powerful Zal'gor the Flamebearer is."
Zal'gor the Flamebearer led Nova further into the volcanic range, where higher-level beasts roamed. They encountered a bihorn, a massive creature resembling a horse with two horns on its head.
Zal'gor explained, "The Bihorn is relatively weak, but they roam in packs. If the Bihorn is here, there is a high chance that others are here too."
Zal'gor leaped towards the Bihorn, enveloping his fist with blue fire, burning more intensely than normal. He punched the bihorn in the head, causing it to fly and lose its horn. In a fit of rage, the bihorn roared, signaling others.
From the shadows emerged three more beasts: two trihorns and their leader, a four-horned beast. The beasts attacked Zal'gor from all directions. Zal'gor summoned a pillar of fire around him as a boundary to keep the beasts at bay.
The leader beast signaled the bihorn to collide with the flame barrier. The bihorn charged towards the flame boundary, attempting to break it. The leader beast signaled the remaining beasts to attack in unison.
Zal'gor, utilizing his 'Drak'thar Fist of Flames' skill, dealt a powerful blow to the bihorn, killing it instantly. The two trihorns were gravely injured. Vispeda explained to Nova that this skill was an art learned from a very young age, utilizing their fire energy for destructive force.
The leader beast, an intelligent beast, decided to interfere. It conjured a sphere of energy from its horns and shot a destructive ray of dark light. In response, Zal'gor uttered "Awaken." His hands and legs grew scales resembling those of a red dragon, similar to Ignis's scales.
With his magically enhanced physical body, Zal'gor tanked the leader beast's attack. He walked towards the leader and challenged, "Is there any other attack you can use?" The beast, flustered, attempted the energy blast again, but Zal'gor remained unscathed. Frustrated, the leader attempted to flee.
Zal'gor leaped in front of the beast and unleashed a named attack, "Drak'thar Fist Fury." The beast took the attack head-on and collapsed. Zal'gor returned to his normal form, showcasing his formidable strength.
After the intense battle in the volcanic range, Zal'gor the Flamebearer emerged victorious. The defeated leader beast lay on the ground, subdued by Zal'gor's powerful Drak'thar Fist fury. Nova, watching the spectacle, was genuinely impressed by the strength and skill displayed by the chief.
Zal'gor approached Nova, his body slowly reverting to its normal state from the enhanced form during the fight. He spoke with a sense of pride, "Your Majesty, this is just a small demonstration of the power of the Drak'thar Clan. We are sworn to protect you with our lives."
Zal'gor added, are you satisfied with the battle your majesty.
