THE SECRET VAULT OF THE KNIGHT TEMPLAR ACADEMY

THE SECRET VAULT OF THE KNIGHT TEMPLAR ACADEMY

"My father was killed by a powerful lance conjuration although I didn't see who it was that killed him. I wasn't close enough to see. I was at the far side of the mountains", Kolgane told them.

"A powerful lance conjuration?" Queen Emerald asked.

"From what I know, the Apostles casts Sword conjurations and there is no apostle who conjures magical lances", Dark Lord said to them.

"It seems we are faced with more characters than just the apostles. It could be someone from one of the major families, a super talent perhaps or an ancient practitioner", Queen Emerald told them.

"We will know who did it when he or she claims the reward from the Knight Templar Academy's mission center", Kolgane told them.

------

We walked to the A-ranked booth in the Mission Center of the Knight Templar Academy as onlookers looked at us curiously. There was a whole team of us who came to claim our prize, including the members of the Control Freak sect from the Conjurer Court.

"I came to collect my reward for the completion of the A-rank mission", I told the people manning the A-rank booth.

"That is impossible. How can you achieve that with the few of you", a rude guy told us and scorned us.

This rude guy was the same one who asked guards to beat me last time that I came here.

"Do you want to join the guards that I almost killed last time in the hospital", I shouted out to the rude guy who suddenly fell to the ground in panic and shock.

"Look, the Bully is bullying the staff in the Mission booths again", the crowd said to themselves.

Suddenly, a woman walked out from behind the Mission Center after hearing our loud commotion.

"Baron Oriese, why have you returned so soon? Did you come to get an extension on your A-rank mission?" Eugenia asked me.

"No, Eugenia. I came to collect my prize and reward", I told her to her shock and surprise.

"It's only a week, did you find out information from the Trogdol kingdom?" Eugenia asked me.

"Yes, I completed the primary mission", I told her as I gave her a bound document detailing the situation in the valley of the Sun Tree.

"What is the big deal about a scouting mission", the rude guy added his rude comment.

Suddenly, something large appeared from the ceiling that fell onto the rude guy who was making comments about my completing the mission.

"Oucchhhh"

"What in hell is this?" the rude guy screamed as he was covered by sticky ropes or hair of some kind.

"What is this?" Eugenia asked me.

"This is the completion of the secondary mission objective. The Lich King's abnormally large head", I replied to her to her shock and surprise.

Not only Eugenia but every graduate knight and staff of the mission center were similarly shocked as the sight of the Lich King's head falling on the rude server.

"You don't have to bring the Lich King's head here for the completion of the mission", Eugenia told me.

"Well, I guess the people here have never seen a monster head so big, so I brought it here to show them", I replied to her.

"You just want to make material for your newspaper", Eless said to me.

"That too. Our readers are getting bored of me bashing kids", I replied to her.

"You are turning the Knight Templar Academy upside down just like you did to the Conjurer Court", Epius said to me.

-----

"The Knight Templar Academy acknowledges your achievement in completing the A-rank mission and also becoming ranked as the ninetieth on the Knight Templar rank of the academy. A new Title is bestowed on you by the Court of Knight Templars. You are now Viscount Oriese", Eugenia told me and congratulated me.

"That is a rather quick promotion", I said to her.

"Yes, you are also the youngest noble to achieve a Viscount Title from the Court", Eugenia told me.

"Now back to the rewards. The Control Freak sect from the Conjurer Court helped me kill the Lich King. They came to obtain the reward too", I told Eugenia.

"Of course, as promised, your team are entitled to receive three items from our vault although you will have to decide among yourselves how to share them", Eugenia told us.

Eugenia took us to a large magic tower in the Academy where the secret vault was held.

"Two of you may enter our vault to pick five items, either magic skills or artifacts. You are given a whole day to confirm your pick", Eugenia told me.

"Alright, Iras will go with me to the vault", I told Eugenia.

The secret vault of the Knight Templar Academy was hidden inside a magic tower. But the artifacts and magic skills were not contained inside the tower.

There was only a magic portal here.

We walked through the magic portal of the magic tower and were immediately transported to another place.

-----

Within the vaults of the Knight Templar Academy lay a secret chamber, shrouded in darkness yet pulsating with an otherworldly energy.

As we ventured into this realm, we found ourselves suspended in a void, encircled by radiant spheres that danced around us like celestial bodies.

Contained within these ethereal cubes were the coveted treasures of magic, promising untold power and knowledge to those who unlock their secrets. Runes adorned the surface of these mystical orbs, offering some hints at the wonders concealed within, though their descriptions remained frustratingly vague.

Securing a prized magical skill from this hidden repository was a gamble of chance, for within its depths lay the whims of fate.

We were given five keys, provided by the Mission Center of the Knight Templar Academy, granting access to five of these coveted spheres as our reward for completing the A-rank mission.

Yet, we were cautioned to choose wisely, for once the keys were expended, there could be no recourse. No refunds granted for our selections from the magical spheres. Thus, our journey into the arcane depths of the secret vault demanded both cunning and discretion.
