THE TICKET TO DELIRIUM

THE TICKET TO DELIRIUM

"Master, please bring me to the Library of the Conjurer's Court, I need to check their books on Revelations there", Meera asked me.

"I'll have to ask Iras about it", I replied to her.

The Library of the Conjurer's Court was restricted to the use of High Conjurers.

However, I've completed the mission to obtain Hell rocks for the Conjurer Court, so my reward was due. It was a matter of converting my reward into a trip to the library.

The permission took time to process, so in the meanwhile we had some time on our hands.

"Let's visit the auction in Tarah city. Never been there," Melroy suggested to us.

"What are you going to buy?" I asked him.

"Some jewelry for my beautiful wives and maybe some hair tonic", he said to me.

"I thought your hair grew back", I said to him.

"I have a few greying hairs that can be fixed with a few good tonics", he said to me before going on and on about the different types of hair potions and tonics.

"Remember to remind me not to ask a baldy for hair advice", I said to them.

------

The Royal Auction Hall of Tarah City was the largest auction in the city and there was merchandise of all kinds being sold here. But I had nothing much in my mind to buy except some jewelry for my wives.

"What is the commotion over there?" Yasha, one of Melroy's golem wives asked him.

"We should go have a look", Melroy suggested to us, so we went together with them.

"We are gathered here today for the auction of tickets to the Realm of Delirium. It is the first time the opening of the Realm has been available to the public. This is a rare opportunity to adventure in the magical realm of Delirium where wonders and riches await. The ticket starts bidding at 50,000 Aurs…", an auctioneer introduced the subject being auctioned.

This wasn't the usual auction that we've been to normally because there was only one item on auction, the tickets to the Realm of Delirium.

We came to a special auction of the tickets and one hundred tickets were up for auction.

"What is so special about the Delirium Realm?" I asked Rinna.

"We should go there. I've never been there, there might be a Tesseract in that realm", Rinna replied to me.

As usual, when an opportunity came for the chance to find a Tesseract, Rinna was all for it. Tesseracts were the magical artifacts of the Valhallan religion which Rinna used to increase her Serpent conjuration magic.

"We must get a ticket this chance is so rare", someone around us said to another.

"This is the first time the Apostles allowed the public to enter the realm", another added to the conversation.

"There are so many treasures hidden inside Delirium", someone else told the others.

The Realm of Delirium was a magical space with a portal that would suddenly appear in the Ten-Kingdoms every half a decade or so.

Usually, the exploration of the Delirium Realm was restricted to the Apostles and the Church of All-seeing but this year it was opened to the public by bidding.

"Hi, why are the Apostles opening the realm to the public?" I asked a guy near me.

"Well probably because they need money. The war with the demons is exhausting their resources and they lost tithes coming from most of the Ten-Kingdoms who fell to the demon army", the guy answered my query.

Usually, I wouldn't support the Apostles' attempts to raise funds, but this realm was important to Rinna. Besides, what better place for a honeymoon than a mysterious realm called Delirium.

"Three hundred thousand Aurs", I shouted to the auctioneer as I raised my bid.

"300,000 aurs going once,… twice … thrice … sold to the gentleman over there", the auctioneer announced my winning bid to me.

"One ticket is not enough we have so many people. Don't tell me you are going without us", Melroy said to me.

"But the tickets are expensive, we have so many people traveling?" I asked them.

"I can hide people inside my special Hell Tank", Sara told us suddenly.

In her spare time, Sara built a special Hell Tank for her own use.

-------

This particular Hell Tank diverged from the norm. It stood as the epitome of advanced technology and design.

Crafted from the reconstructed frame of an Illuminati Destroyer, it boasted a proprietary mini-Neutronium fission reactor capable of harnessing the energy from magic crystals or incenses.

Its propulsion system boasted state-of-the-art anti-gravity drives.

Resembling a demonic face, the ship's design struck fear into the hearts of any who dared oppose it.

Horns adorned its facade, each housing powerful particle cannons salvaged from the Illuminati destroyer, alongside formidable Gatling cannons.

Its hull, fortified with the toughest metals and layered with potent Hell rocks, absorbed and deflected demon magic effortlessly.

Enchantments cloaked the vessel, ready to activate a formidable magical forcefield at a moment's notice, complementing its existing Illuminati defenses.

Yet, amidst its impressive arsenal and technology, the most remarkable feature lay within its confines. The crew quarters operated on a self-recycling system, ensuring a perpetually fresh atmosphere for the comfort and survival of its inhabitants.

However, for all its grandeur, the one thing the Hell Tank lacked was a fitting name.

-------

"Can you fit your Hell Tank inside your Faberge egg?" I asked Sara.

"That is the only problem. My existing space devices couldn't contain the ship", she complained to me.

"Use my Faberge ring. It combines the magical space of several Faberge eggs into one ring", I told her.

"I'll have one of those", she said to me.

"Alright, I'll craft one for you after we return to Istiopolis. Rinna's team of shamans need to help me merge the magic space in the Faberge eggs before I could transform them into a ring", I replied to her.

"I'll have one too", Rinna asked for a ring from me and also Cassandra and Meera.
